If you are not going to contribute anything useful......****** off. You laughed when someone legitimately asked whether this tactic was fake, then you come out with something stupid like " You can go unbeaten with Arsenal with any tactic...........You clearly haven't tried any of mine !

the tactic is awesome ive won 15 drawn 1 in last 16 games inc wins away at man city, liverpool, arsenal and chelsea :D
 
what kind of striker do we need?? fast and creative or tall with good heading and jumping??

3 won
1 draw (0-0, with qpr against aston villa)
and 2 won that were strange (The goals were similar, they run from the middle to my goalkepper, and they shoot., then i scored 4 goals, similar too, 2 of that goals in both matches were of headder in minnutes 80 and 86, and 1 goal of penalty at the start, and other "normal" goal)
 
been using this tactic with sunderland in my first season, im 15th after 20 games, won 4 drawn 10 lost six. cisse's on fire but every game if they're striker scores then theyll score 3. torres did it, drogba, santa cruz, hesky and derbyshire. i also lost to colchester in the league cup. am i doin something wrong? my defence is ok, and forward wise i create alot but its like theres a bug or something, i conceed the same goals game in game out! would the patch help this??
 
You're conceding cos the AI is hitting the weak spot in the tactic. There's no 'super' tactic for this game. The TTF documents are excellent and this is a good tactic based on the principles they give. You'll notice however that you need to tweak tactics and have variations for them against different players and formations who expose its weak points, especially once the first season effect wears off.
 
Yeh there is. there may not be a super tactic but there are tactics which give you a massive advantage over your opponents.

Tactics need tweaking and/or changing in order to remain successful. No tweaking and changing means that every tactic will start to encounter difficulties roughly a season after first being introduced as teams start to get to know how to play you.

As I said, this looks a sound basic tactic for a team with level appropriate players or better than level players but it's effectiveness will drop off over time as with any tactic.

i finished 5th in my first season declared interest in him then offer £35m for him
 
well just finished my 1st season using this tactic from beginning of november and this was the results...

won every trophy except fa cup after 3-0 defeat home to spurs, won champions league against chelsea on penaltys but was totaly all over them and reamained unbeaten in the league scoring 86 goals

since using the system
won...36
drew..9
lost....3

top scorers were....
Rooney....... 30 goals mostly played as attacking midfielder
Berbatov......28 goals
Ronaldo........21 goals
Tevez..........15 goals




all i can say is its a fantastic tactic

i lost 1st game 3-2 after leading 2-0 early on but after that i just kept winning so give it few games and see what happens
 
Been using this tactic for about half a season with oldham in the championship and even though i've not won every game or gone unbeaten i've managed to score in the last 18 games which is more than any other team and i'm now sitting in a nice mid table position as opposed to stuck in the relegation zone like last season
 
mu fm 09 got ruined, which isn't thta bad since the game only will be playable when next patch comes, but I restarted an fm 08 and opposition changes tactics every fifteen minutes or so (and so I do of course) and apprently its even worse with fm 09 so I think you'll need at least 4 or 5 reliable tactics, or maybe even more.
 
very good tactics

the tactics i used for 10 matches. I play with Real Madrid.
In the league i have won 8 games and 2 draw, the one draw agains Barcelona. i scores lost of goals, have scored 23 goals in 10 games, conceded 7, so very pleasing... :-)

Anyone who can recomemd a top class striker with golden boths..?
