oh dude its a different story about ManCity. its not a low team. i have a save where im leading table. only bought Aguero, Caceres and Obafemi Martins. but when i try the same tactic with my lovely Hull i get sacked after every season without a chance to resign. i just dont know how to setup them. tried bunch of tactics but nothing actualy helps. i have wasted so much time by reading TTF, i know how to build counter-attack based team but i still get no results. i rly dont understand the thing

btw I noticed that central defenders and keeper are not set on Central defender/Keeper as specefic role,the place where you can select their individual roles like Dm,st etc etc.
Is it better if they are on central defnder/keeper or leave them be like you have it now

Gonna try it now with Blackburn but every one on this site that says it works have teams like man u arsenal and barcelona...... dont kno will it work with blackburn!
thats what im talking about mate...it failed with Hull, i guess you wont be able to make anything special with Blackburn too...but we will see. keep us updated

this tactic works excelent with stronger teams such ManC or Portsmouth. loved to see my last game stats. no shots against, very impressive.

This tactic is working fine for me with ManUtd... but lost it to Arsenal 3:0 yesterday.....

guess you can't. once i had seasons where Arsenal ran 56 unbeaten games in a row. nothing you can do about it

oh ****...! don't understand why Arsenal is so powerful in FM 2009.... they were never like that before....!
As you said, in my game now they are beating everyone... won FA cup, league cup... totally unstoppable... what the heck...?
Guess, just gonna have to improve my own team and wait for them to start slipping....

i started a game with wolves signed a lot of players for free such as thomas graveson,alvaro novo and some others i also spent 2m on berra from hearts and 1.9m for driver also hearts, i spent 300k on tristan from west ham - i played 5 matches before trying this tactic - as i won 1 and drew 4, the first match i played was at home to preston and i won 2-0 in a poor game. The second match away from sheff wed i drew 1-1, not too bad as i am still unbeaten in the league - i have already hammered southampton 3-0 in the league cup and have got hull city next in the 3rd round after another 5 matches ill post back here how ive got on in them with your tactic thanks.
Im playing tristan up front most of the time - any certain abilities my striker should have as i have a few diff strikers ( ebanks blake, vokes,abreu and some others)

Wolves Vs Sheff Utd - (1-0) - Championship
keogh (86)
Wolves Vs Coventry - (0-0) Championship
Qpr Vs Wolves - (3-0) Championship
Poor match against qpr however not to downhearted they
are top of the league and its my defeat in the league
in 10 games so hope i can bounce back.
next match will be against doncaster at home stopped playing
just now though ill let you know what happens later on
in the season on how i cope. 8-|

with the tactic you gave, I couldn't win even against Porsmouth.... was about to lose the game for FA Cup...
then i switched it to my old tactic and Goal! got saved this way... I play with ManUtd.... but this tactic of yours didn't work for me for some reason....
