Not much point me downloading this then. it will take till Wednesday to download it :P

Gonna wait a while and see what kind of reception it gets before buying,

Wewp just got it loaded up, was getting like 1 fps, im hoping its cause im running like 5 other programs and my comps been on 24+ hours and not that my comps just too ****.

Tuesday eh? Interesting. Originally it was until 5:00am GMT Monday morning.

The FPS issue seems to occur on a number of systems, ranging from poor spec machines to ones capable of running anything. It's known and has been discussed on the testing forum widely.

I'm not downloading 20GB to play a game for one day. Er. Will we not be able to play beyond Tuesday?

Whos been playing the BETA? thoughts?

Im just downloading it now

I have played on this week. I'm very pleased with this, classy BioWare work once again. And it is(excluding some combat lag), it is bug-free.

Played it for at least 18 hours over the weekend, I was pleased with what I saw.

Cannot wait for the issues to be ironed out at release.

So for anybody that has played it does it seem worth it?
Also if anybody could link the the system specs id be grateful.... :)

I have good spec but not sure if my laptops graphics card will be powerful enough.

Doesnt seem to agree with the specs of my 'puter :( Was getting like 1 fps on the default settings and 8 on the lowest. Extremly disappointing seeing as from what ive seen of screenshots and others streaming it, its not much better than WoW (which runs fine on my comp unless im in a 25 man raid with the graphics near max) graphics wise.

Hopefully its just the beta, I wont however now be pre-ordering it, hopefully get a shot of a mates copy to see how it runs. If not its back to WoW for the holidays i guess. Patch 4.3 looks decent, biggest content patch evvvva.

Yeah the game's average (at best) graphics really take a toll on a number of machines. I don't think it's optimised properly at all.

Here's hoping they sort it out before release or at least improve the situation, because there will be even more people online at that stage and things'll be even slower.

To me Steve, it is going to be worth it, especially since you get a month's free subscription with pre-order.

Can't they do what Blizz does for WoW and do a restricted trial? Then people could see if the computer could handle it

Its pretty overpriced for a pc game nevermind an MMO, 45 quid and then another 9 a month. You could get all the WoW expansions for less in total.

They'll implement this at some stage after release I'd imagine.

Most games do.

Hope so. After reading about the FPS rates I'd rather be safe than sorry. WoW works fine on my laptop, but still. Sounds like a bit of a concern
