Just the 442, 4231 is not really good for me so I delete that save.

For me 4-4-2 kung fu. Great tactic , great play, lot of goals from strikers. I am notice in this version of FM, lot of new players need to be in squad about 6 months. In some games I need to change mentality to balance.

Using FM20 4-4-2 V2 and going very well after 12 league games, best tactic I've used so far..

FM BETA RESULTS

4231 working wonders for me. Plugged it in 2 months into the 2nd season.

I basically have 2 different 11's.

The A team for most games, Big cup games. Got the main stats in there as well. Auba and Nelson are killing it.

The B Team for early rounds of the cup etc.

442 is amazing. The strikers (pace seems to be the most important thing) score stupid amounts.

Definitely not as good as it was, but still ok.
