Starting this Challenge may start a thread to keep progress, i'm going to start as hamburg because i random'd until one of the teams were picked. and it happened to be Hamburg. happy that its not a top team and glad its not the bottom ones expect to win it in 2-4 seasons.

I am going back to my champions league challenge save! Real madrid at the moment!
 
After playing fm 2013 for a while it is time to start this challenge.

My plan is to start with fc bayern, because I've never played with them and it shouldn't be too hard to win the champions league. So I can get done reputation, before moving to smaller clubs.

Will keep you up to date.

Signings so far; Fellaini, lewandowski, papadopoulos.

Robben is ****, will sell him. Ribery I don't know yet.

Just won champions league first season with bayern. ( ss when I have Internet on laptop )

It says that you can't use an edited database but would it be acceptable to use LFCMarshalls Summer Transfer update database?
 
Update:

Hired by inter halfway season. They were 8th, I won serie A, coppa, quarter final cl

Next season, had trouble with ST. Barely scored injured, regen still too young.

Final cl , lost against arsenal

Managed to sign Rooney on a free transfer at end.
Bale, Martinez also signed. This is going to be fun ;D

Right when my interest in FM2013 was fading, I found this challenge. Will try :D
 
I'm back on winning ways. A Taca Portugal win, League win, Community Shield win and A champions League all in my first season! Gonna miss Porto! I may stay on actually! Depends if I can get a job or not!

Seems i'm stuck in Porto! Oh well! Time to try and retain the CL until a job becomes available, I applied for Bayern but got declined due to Pep taking over! :(
 
Ahah, I forgot about this challenge, going to do this again with the latest transfer update.

Edit: Just seen in the rules no editor data changers - using LFCMarshall's Update. Nevermind will play for fun not the leaderboard

Decided to take over Nottingham Forest, then work my way up. For realism I've not allowed transfer budgets in first window so won't be able to re-shape the squad too much to start with.
 
Porto is actualy pretty good.You have a good chance of winning the CL if you play well.
