ps. by the way, I didn't use the in-game editor. Someone asked me about that before.
but the solution is simple. Download and play it.
then you will know that my results was made by in-game editor or not.

* corner kicks : CM (in case of v2, DM or CAM)

* no opposition instructions


** your box-to-box style midfielders can play at Inverted wingback, if you train him as that position.

wingers with average of defensive stats also can be a Inverted wingback too.

** If you are attacked by oppositions from behind your fullback, set the fullback at that side to support roll.


** usulally I use Left footed player at right inverted wingback,
Right footed player at left inverted wingback.

that 20-0 is a bit hard to believe but will try it none the less. i fancy a 20-0 myself!!!

ive had a 7-1 against chelsea. im only in my 2nd season with united so my team is good but could be better!!!

have you tried with having 2 cm turn it into 442 ive played 1 game won 3.0 away moving cm de to the left and bringing the middle af to cm bbm
 
it be awesome if you could make it with 2 cm

oh. I've not tried that way.

ok I'll try. but goals will be lower than 3 strikers or 2ST 1CAM, I think.

ive played with cm de and cm apm results have been great

I hope you get 10 goals in one match lol . I have some plan to do it. Signing with Isac, Icardi, and maybe Dybala in couple of years if possible. haha

This tactic works wonder for me using Olympiakos Fc. I prefer the tweak with the 2 cm's though.Gives more chances to midfield talent so that they can shine.Superb overall.

It is important that you keep the idea of 4 wingbacks.

I found that we utilize wingback and fullback together, it can be a cheat for FM2018 as good as 343 formation or much.

There can be so many way to tweak these tactics as long as you keep the principle, utilizing 3 or 4 wingbacks.
 
The only downside i think is that the IWB position is one lacking of talent though..You can develop some but for lower league management its gonna be a hard time.Will give it a whirl.
