This tactic I created is, in my opinion, the best tactic of this version. The results are as you can see. Try to remove your yellow card player from the game and switch to a defensive understanding if you are ahead in the final minutes of the match.

consists of 2 test teams:

TOP TEAM all players with a CA and PA of 165
UNDERDOG all players with a CA and PA of 150

these 2 teams will compete in the Tactic Testing League against 10 of the best Nations on FM playing against each other 8 times (88 games in total)

To make the testing as accurate as humanly possible I have made the following changes:

All injuries have been removed and the chances of any new injuries happening have been reduced by 99.99%.

All loans have been removed

All Bans have been removed and players who get sent off will not be banned for next game

Match condition has been frozen.

Instructions:

Make sure "Tactic Testing League v1" is the only editor data file you have enabled

Start a new game

Select Advanced Settings

Select just the Irish Premier League with a small database (this will run in the background for the start date the Tactic Testing League is a international competition which will be drawn in mid February and run from March 22-Nov 22).

Select the following 2 National Teams to manage, TOP TEAM & UNDERDOG.

Delegate all jobs to staff in responsibilities (see screenshot)

Save your game and turn off auto save.

Load the tactic you wish to test into all 3 tactic slots on all 2 teams.

Holiday the game until 1.1.23 with both teams making sure you tick the box "use current match tactics".

Post a link to the tactic you tested (only tactics from FM-Base please) on here.

Post the following screenshots Tactic Testing League Stages and Best XI's for all 3 teams (see post 2).

I hope this is of use to you as it took a lot of time and effort to create.

PS this is not a tactic testing request thread, I will test a few tactics on here from time to time but it is a very time consuming process and my PC is on its last legs.

I tried 3 run with the same tactic and results are differents. I don't know what can they do to cancel RNG but in fact this test is not really relevant.

Very good 442 Asymmetric

Hello, If you want try. It's a very good tactic, which goes from a 451 formation to a 433 in attack. 110 goals scored in the league for only 24 conceded in 38 games. I have win Ligue 1, French Cup and Europa Ligue with Monaco the first season.

yes there is a lot of RNG in FM the only real way around it to do more tests and average out the results but this thread is only really to give people an idea of which tactics are better than average it has never been to find the best tactic as that will depend on the players you have available to you and your opposition etc.

Should i put a default starting 11, or leave it random? I'm asking this because my tactic performs significantly better with left footed right wings and right footed left wings.
EDIT: i tested it without putting a default eleven (followed instructions on page 9), i used oppositions instructions thou as those are of primary importance for my tactic.
Scored 302 total points, the tactic did incredibly well with the underdog team (131 points, 5th place) and placed first with the Top Team.
