one niggling thing that Ive not gotten round in the last few months - when your *** Man says "such and such player isnt used to closing down / lower tempo etc how do you get the player to adapt? Is it a case of having to go into his advanced settings and change your tactics to suit that particular player or can he overcoming his failings through match practice and training?
Still no feedback on this? Its not that its holding back my play or anything Im just sick of my assistant manager telling me the same things over and over!
Question,
with match preparation when i have completed become accomplished in all the areas and that only took 2 months is there any use?
Like i mean i lowered the workload but i still changed the focus for example if i conceded a few i then focused on defensive positioning and vice versa.
Is there any point in doing that even if my team is accomplished fully?
According to the SI developers, the only aspect of Match Preparation that 'carries on' is 'Team Blend'. All the others, e.g. Defensive Positioning, Defending Set-Pieces, etc, are for the NEXT match only...
Example, if you are facing a team that scores a lot from set-pieces you should (could?) change your match prep to 'defending set-pieces'; if you're facing a team that you expect to have lots of possession against, then you should (could?) set your match prep to 'attacking movement'; and so on..
Apparently, if you set your match prep to 'Team Blend' for the days in between games and then one or two days before the game you change it to whatever you feel the team need to focus on, that is sufficient for that particular game. What is a bug-bear is that you could have your team focusing on 'Defending Set-Pieces' for several weeks but as soon as you change the match-prep focus the benefit of the several weeks is lost! (this is what I meant by 'carries on' above).
Team Blend is about morale, about familiarity, and so on.. in your assistants team report where he tells you that your team has a "good understanding" or "have yet to develop an understanding" etc etc is where you will see the benefit of team-blend as well as seeing the morale of your team improve. This will not decrease if you change the focus of match-prep although morale is also linked to form
Personally, I leave my match-prep on team-blend and only use one tactic. I also only have match-prep set to very low (10%). If you have more tactics that you want the team to become fluent in then you should increase it to high or very high until they are fluid; you can then reduce it to very low and not have any problems.
hope this helps
Quick question, when I go to import tactics into my game, it imports successfully however when I click the tactic the TI's just stay at balanced, standard and default. It use to load the TI's fine, but now it won't. It's really starting to annoy me aswell :/ any help would be appreciated.
Well, depending on the coach he'll have only some trainings available, a GK coach won't be able to train defending or attacking, neither will a assistant manager, and so on. Are you sure no one in your entire staff can train attack, defend and shooting? Usually coaches can train everything.Theres no doubt a very simple answer to this, but i`ve racked my brains and can`t seem to find the answer.
Anyway, on the training page how can i allocate the staff myself to the different training areas. Well i know how to do it, but when i try and do it all i get is fitness, GK, tactics and ball control available for staffing. Attack, Defend and Shooting are all missing. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
Hello little Mourinhos,
how to make a player captain ? Do not find any options in the tactics menu or elsewhere.
