Yeah keep going, you've done really well so far. It is an interesting read, and a nice idea. I think you can win the Champions League within time.

Looks nice! I see you signed Sandro too. How's he turning out for you?

Thanks^^)Thus far I havent played that much, but hes been solid, and what longer I get, the better will he be, hopefully:P

hey watching for the first time but looks pretty good.
I had Sandro in a save i had with Porto and he was pretty solid but the other one I don´t know him very well so
anyway good job i´ll keep on watching

Thanks. The Champions League won't be for this season i think. But i think next season with a bit of luck and some good progress from my youngsters the trophy gonna go into the ajax trophy cabinet :)

Cheers mate. It's the first time I signed Ander so I don't know him that well either. But I just fell in love with his creativity and first touch.

I'm still following mate (H)

And I'm still following your Feyenoord story. To bad our teams can't play a match against each other <) Would have been very interesting I think.

Hopefully this evening I can update the first month in the 2nd season, I haven't played the whole month yet. And for some reason the morale in my team is very low ever since my players came back from international duties in the beginninng of august. :S But I don't think the international appearances contributed a lot to the bad morale...Really don't know why their all depressed for the moment oO)

Too bad Fm 2010 doesn't have a "Distribute Prozac to team"-button...

Whats the name of that skin? Would be nice to have!

Then I wonder how the debt has developed in your game? + or - results every month?

Really good story btw, i will follow it!

Its called the SKIN SKIN, you can find it on this site.
This month i had a loss of about € 20 M oO) But because Ajax has a big stadium and a lot of fans now, I usually make a small to reasonable profit most of the months from my gate receipts.

awesome story mate just went through whole thing and its really good specially the signings ander becomes great and suarez is top notch for u ...

Start of the new season

With the new season starting Ajax fans are very anxious to see if the team can retain the Eredivisie. The board have similar hopes and released their expectation statement.

Key player Luis Suarez was a big mark in the transfer market with 8 clubs bidding for his capture. Nuyts has rejected all of them even the € 15 M bid from Liverpool. Suarez was unsettled by this and expressed his desire to move to a bigger team to the media. He stated that he wanted to achieve more in his career and doesn't think he can do that at Amsterdam Arena. Nuyts was quick on the ball to react and released his own statement. Suarez responded positive to his managers words and is believed to stay at Ajax for this season.

Super cup / Johan Cruijff Schaal

Saturday, 24 July:

A thrilling start to the season with a penalty shoot-out against FC Twente in the Super Cup. In the end it was Twente who won the goal lotery. The 2nd placed team in the Eredivise last season still looks very good in the start of this season.

Þ Man of the match: Twente's Mauricio Romero (7.5)

************

Saturday, 31 July:

A very good start in the Eredivisie with a convincing win against RKC. There's still some points that need te improve again like passing and teamwork but the players are swiftly regaining their former consistency.

Þ Man of the match: Luis Suarez (8.5)

Arch rivals Feyenoord has a lot more shots at the goal but a lot of them were from distance. We we're not controling the match, but we had a lot more efficiancy as we scored 2 goals and their goal was an own goal by Opare.

Þ Man of the match: Maarten Stekelenburg (8.1)

I'm disappointed with the players performances against den Haag. We had most of the possession and had control over the opposition but the Ajax players lacked determination and didn't create a lot of chances.

Þ Man of the match: den Haag's GK Bagui (7.7)

Another rival in the beginning of the season. We played away and the players gave the worst first half performance i've ever seen from them. So I scraped my vocal cords an gave the loudest motivational yelling session i could produce. After that my half deaf players played the second as if their lives depended on it. They managed to peg in 3 balls and secured Ajax's 3rd victory in the Eredivisie

Þ Man of the match: Dodo (7.9)

End of month conclusion:

Pro’s: A good start to the Eredivisie with 10 points out of 12

Con’s: The loss in the Super Cup, even though Twente played a good game I really wanted to lift the Johan Cruijff Schaal.

Best youth player of the month: Rodney Sneijder has begon the season with with some great performances. In 5 games he has made 3 goals and gave 3 assists with an average rating of 7.58 and a rating of 7.70 in the Eredivisie.

Yeah that will be cool! (H) Coz i don't see anyone posting there that's why i thought no one is following anymore. Anyway, you're in 3rd season! That's fast! I'm only halfway thru in my 2nd season.

Yeah i have that too, a lot of people read but dont post. No problem for me but then it looks like no one is following.
And im also in my 2nd season, season 10/11. Not the third season, that will take a bit more time |)

Oops, i saw the date wrongly. Haha! Yeah, i'm ahead of you now. lol :P

September update

Saturday, 11 September:

A new record high off 9 goals in one match. This match had a lot of fireworks and heerenveen was a bit to strong for the Ajax players this time. Especially Henrique was to much to take for our defense.

Þ Man of the match: Heerenveen's Paulo Henrique (9.3)

Saturday, 18 September:

Willem II were brushed aside in this game. Ajax played with a lot of confidence and showed some attractive football today.

Þ Man of the match: Siem de Jong (7.8)

Sunday, 26 September:

Romelu Lukaku is starting to prove he's becoming worthy of regular first team appearances. He made the difference with his goal in this tight clash.

Þ Man of the match: Romelu Lukaku (7.5)

I recommend putting on this music when you're reading the next section ;)

And so it begins...Ajax can finally compete again in the glorious Champions League. Can they repeat their former triumphs or will they crash and burn?

"This text is written because the intro of the song is a bit too long. You will not gain any information from reading these words. Bla blablabla blabla, bla bla bla blalalalaaaaa! Well, now that i've wasted enough of your time so the song is well on it's way... Let's begin!

Tuesday, 14 September:

The first match of the group stage. Dutch Ajaxien gladiators versus the Greeks. At the end of the match it's clear that the Dutch technique (al be it in an Uruguayan package) was too much to handle for Panathinaikos.

Þ Man of the match: Luis Suarez (8.5)

Wednesday, 29 September:

Some bad finishing was shown by Ajax today, but they did just enough to secure a win. With this win Ajax has started its European adventure with a 6 out of 6.

Þ Man of the match: Dario Cvitanich (7.5)

************

Thursday, 23 September:

We were clear favorites for this match but de Treffers almost caused a shock by scoring after only 5 minutes of play. Luckily Ajax kept playing determined, knowing they would prevail. Luis Suarez was magnificent, scoring 3 goals and constantly challenging the opposition defense.

Þ Man of the match: Luis Suarez (9.4)

************

End of month conclusion:

Pro’s: A lovely start to the Champions League with 2 wins. We now share the first place in the group with Olympique Lyonnais.

Con’s: The loss against SC Heerenveen. Scoring 4 goals and still losing the game is never fun.

Best youth player of the month: Lukaku showed his potential this month. He was still too young to really make a difference in the games last season but I think this season he's gonna have his big break-through. He also played his first game in Belgian national team this month. Coincidence? I think not! Advocaat and Me think the same thing about the 17 yo black diamond.
