But all them Rosicky, Nasri, Gervinho are all wingers, and the issue is more with cover at DM than at CM. Don't know much about Lansbury but I doubt you want him playing too major of a role this season, especially at that position. And Rosicky is way past it by the way. Used to be a great player but hasn't been the same since the injuries and he's old now. Oh and I bet Nasri leaves.

despite being old, he can still create chances from anything. so it worth keeping him if any injuries occur to ur midfield.

and Rosicky can play all midfield, winger and cm, and could fill in that 'no10' role

behold at 4:26. epic vision pass!

It confirms that he isn't signing a new contract...and he wants to leave. And now that Arsenal are ready to sell...

Im pretty sure that the deal will be completed in the coming days. Nasri has a qualifier to play in tomorrow so it can't be done now. The fee might be agreed by now...but i guess there will be nothing official until he returns from international duty.

Nasri is suspended from the first leg anyway. So there is time but im fairly sure it will be completed this week.

Not really. If it isn't completed before he plays vs Udinese (which he will if he hasn't yet moved), Wenger will try to convince him to stay IMO.

You can say "the deal will be done this week" as much as you like, but the reality is that this isn't FM and deals generally aren't done all that quickly. Especially when you're up against Wenger ;)

Either way, as I said before - absolute bargain for Arsenal.

Is he suspended for the first leg? Is so why is he traveling with the squad? (Where is the first match?)

u think we will let an important player to the club (at that time) go in an instant. nasri is important and wenger is trying to keep him.

Sunil - it's not that he's travelling, but you have to register players for each stage of the competition - Qualifiers, Groups, KOs?, Finals.

? what lol

EMIRATES
PIRATES

like u know how the calataNS says arsenal kidnapped cese. assuming us like Pirates, since our nickname is THE Gunners , that can be sounded at THE Gooners. and goons steal things.

BBC London's Andrew Rowley:

"The uncertainty over the futures of key players Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri has made for an unsettled summer for Arsenal and their supporters.
"Wenger has managed to sign highly-rated Ivorian striker Gervinho from French champions Lille, but potential moves for Everton defender Phil Jagielka and Valencia starlet Juan Mata have yet to bear fruit.
"The club have yet to sign an authoritative defender, such as Blackburn's Chris Samba, and, after leaking so many goals from set-pieces, there remains a strong case for an organiser at the back.
"Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Song represent an exciting, if inexperienced midfield while Robin Van Persie remains a class act up front.
"But the battle for a top-four place will be fiercer than ever, let alone a fight for the title."

BBC Sport - Premier League club-by-club preview

first month is tense. newcastle, manu, liverpool, plus udienese.

this is epic.

Spanish papers reporting that Barca made 34 Million Euros plus 6Million addons for Cesc.

Also read one Arseanl supporter posted "Fabregas asked Wenger to leave him out of Champions league squad"

I say we take it, and quickly reinforce the areas of the squad that need strengthening. Let him go. His heart is obviously at Barcelona.

I only would like this to be accepted if I were sure that Wenger would use this money for signing a goob CB at once.
But, as far as I am not fully sure of this would happen, I say "tell 'em to go f*** themselves".
