They were already saying on radio earlier who they want as replacement manager :S

Don't even have to mention what name was repeatedly brought up

Hate to kick you while you're down, but unless Everton get bought, its a case of when you lose Moyes (to Manchester United)

Love to kick me when I'm down don't you :'(

But yeah, David's name was also repeatedly mentioned too.

Very well guessed. Impressive lol

And Jose

I'd love to see Arsenal with O'Neill at the helm. Within a year Arsenal's finances and wage structure lie in ruins, and new signing Fernando Llorente is the axis around which the team functions, hoofed balls being knocked down for speedy wingers Walcott and Gervinho in a strict 4-4-2. Robin Van Persie is immediately shunted out the door, but Joel Campbell's pretty quick so he can play alongside Llorente. With no squad rotation, Arsenal surge to the top of the Prem before grinding to a halt and finishing 5th. O'Neill then gets pissy at lack of funds having spent £300 million in five months and resigns, but not before selling off all the club's promising youngsters in order to bring in Zat Knight and Moustapha Salifou.

Christ, rub it in why don't you. What next, film yourself taking a **** in the Bullens Road stand?

'Ang on a sec....has Wenger bid £15 million for Jagielka recently? On Sun website he did and it got rejected

Arsene is irreplaceable. just that we're lost 2 important players doesn't mean he 'must' be fired. sure i kind of in danger until replacements arrive, but not being too radical to kick him out straight away

that radio show must have been made up off anti-gooner fans or something. :P

Generally, the only people who can be bothered to spend their time phoning into radio shows are complete morons.

Apart from Jamie Carragher getting ripped into Adrian Durham or whoever it was on talkshite. That was heroic not moronic!

Well, it was Talksport, and it's renowned for the "fans" (who sound about 12-13) calling for Wengers head if he doesn't end the 6 year trophy drought this year. They'll probably be Chelsea or Man City fans next.

£32m duo wait over Arsenal move - report

Arsenal – Yann M’Vila and Eden Hazard waiting for Udinese result to join

Arsenal are faced with some extra pressure in their preparation to face Udinese tomorrow night, with Yann M’Vila and Eden Hazard both waiting on the result to make a decision over a move to the London club, according to the Independent.

With Cesc Fabregas now settled in Barcelona, and Samir Nasri on the way out, Arsene Wenger is looking for replacements for the London club’s midfield, and Hazard and M’Vila are reportedly at the top of the manager’s transfer wishlist.

M’Vila, 21, fits in with Arsenal’s transfer policy to chase younger players who can become the future of the club, and Wenger has reportedly been chasing the French wonderkid for a while. Hazard is also a player full of potential, and at just 20-years-old, the Lille star has attracted attention from numerous European clubs.
But due to Arsenal’s fourth place finish on the Barclays Premier League table last season, the Gunners now have to go through a qualifying process to get into the group stages of the Champions League tournament.

This is said to have left both Hazard and M’Vila unsure of whether they want to leave their respective clubs for Arsenal, and the duo are waiting on the result to see how the Gunners square up against European competitors.

M’Vila is said to be worth around £12 million, while Hazard could fetch around £20 million plus.

Why not Liverpool or Man Utd next?

"All the talk is about Arsenal and Arsene leaving... It's the most ridiculous situation. The man has been simply unbelievable." - Sir Alex.

Full qoute:

It’s a crazy world we’re in. It’s a critical world and you only need to lose a couple of games to have critics howling down at you. All the talk is about Arsenal and Arsene leaving. But who can replace him? It’s the most ridiculous situation. The man has been simply unbelievable. He has given Arsenal platforms they never thought they’d get to. He should carry on. He shouldn’t listen to the critics. The one thing you need in this game is ear plugs.” - Sir Alex Ferguson.

Love Fergie when he defends other Managers no matter which club they manage.

I m a Manchester united fan but I must say honestly that arsenal can still complete IF BOTH Ramsey and wilshere step up significantly. And furthermore, the defense have to step up.there's no leader in the squad to push the team on

Wenger has until December to prove he hasn't lost it, he has taken a team which lacked defensively but always looked sharp going forward and bluntened its attacking prowess. If we aren't competing to an acceptable level at Christmas, Wenger has to go and a new man brought in before the January Window, he should be given the funds made available through all of Wenger's sales and told to rebuild or rethink the job.

No excuses for Wenger if we aren't up there at Christmas, the team may be pathetic, but it is him that has made it so. If he doesn't find replacements, he has to get out, and in my opinion if any Arsenal fan's disagree they are deluded, Wenger has been a great asset to the club, but nobody is bigger than the club, and if he is taking us backwards he needs to be offloaded.

I will find it so sad if Wenger departs before FFP. Once FFP arrives Arsenal will be a mega powerhouse, able to outspend nearly anyone in the league, and with a young and hungry squad to build on the only thing that could really stop them is the genius of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Fergie has it bang on. Lose 2 games, and you'll be absolutey mullered which is just aboslute plain ridiculous. Put it this way-he has 8 days til window closes. He goes all out to buy the best players for the club, be it Cahill, Jagielka, Hazard or whatever....but they turn around and say "no thanks-I'm staying put". So he tries to buy other quality-same response. Would fans want him gone by December if things go pear shaped, even though he did his utmost to buy the quality they needed during the window? I sure as **** wouldn't. It would be just ridiculous as.

Fenerbahce being expelled from Europe means the team ranked highest take their place - this means Arsenal are now in Europe no matter what.

Argh, its a really confusing rule. I think the rule states Arsenal would play in the EL and Liverpool in the CL - but that's surely not fair

Important game for Arsenal.

I'd go for a defensive combination of Frimpong and Song with Arshavin being given the attacking role. Gervinho and Walcott out wide and hopefully they'll rip the defence apart with their pace.

Nasri has gone for £25million, quite sad BUT we gotta' move on... Hopefully we'll bring in a midfielder and defender. Preferably Cahill/Samba and Marin.
