Really? Tell me more.

Dont say Scott doesnt give the crowd what it wants;

Having a laugh is for fun minded people, who arent up themselves. It can happened in many different ways, one way is trying to One up each other, this is common amongst Football fans, especially of rival club. Another example of this, could be taking something someone says in literall terms, even though they didnt really want an Answer.

I can consider myself enlightened.

We ARE ****.

Indeed, capitulating a 4 goal lead was something everyone could get themselves off to. ;)

I'm more of a "score latest goal in Prem history then concede an EVEN LATER ONE" kind of guy myself.

St Etienne forward Emmanuel Riviere has told skysports.com that he is flattered by Arsenal's reported interest in his services.
Speculation in France suggests interest is mounting in the 21-year-old Frenchman, who is contracted to St Etienne

until 2014.

The Gunners have been mentioned as potential suitors whilst Liverpool

are also said to be monitoring his situation.

Riviere told skysports.com: "I am flattered to be linked with the clubs mentioned. I am a young player, so to be linked with Arsenal

is fantastic for me.

"If Arsene Wenger

is interested in you it means you have potential to be a very good player.

"People compare me to Thierry Henry,

and that is a big compliment. If I can achieve half of his career I will be happy."

Not good enough from what I've heard. Can't find it now, but someone on my Timeline said before that if Liverpool signed him now, they'd quickly regret losing N'Gog...

To prevent your victims shouting for help?

Exactly.

Ray Parlour Testimonial! twitition - Ray Parlour Testimonial

Oh and FourFourTwo claim that their sources suggest Cahill -> Arsenal could be done by Wednesday. Believe what you will.

What did JET say on twitter, something racist I hear?

I don't know. I think he was being homophobic - he's black, so I doubt he was being racist. Talented player, but his attitude stinks and the flashes of brilliance we see on YouTube are just that. Flashes. Won't make it at Arsenal IMO.

He RTd this after he said he would have a competition to make him laugh:

"@aljboucher: @WEDITSJET My gay brother has recently been diagnosed with HIV... What a bummer... #WED" Dats Nasty LOL"

and this:

"@arsenal49er: @WEDITSJET I was feeling a bit down so I dipped my Arab friend in some bleach. That lightened Mamood!" Thts rude bt funny lol"

me and my mates have played footy with him and he is more than a handful & he is a really nice guy i think he has the ability to go far with arsenal as soon as we find his best position

the jokes are quite funny but inappropriate

Wouldn't surprise me at all. We rejected your (frankly derisory) £5m bid before, but Wenger and Arsenal are willing to let him go. Not just because of his contract status (and I've heard no suggestions he's being a rebel; more just that we haven't made any offers to renew it) but because we expected to sell him last summer. The right bid from the expected bidder never came, though.

£7m doesn't seem unrealistic, although as LadyArse pointed out - the inflation in the English market means that he's ridiculously undervalued. He is 25 and has one year left on his contract. He is a defender who has played over 180 times for his club, has won a league winners medal, has ten caps for his country and regular Champions League experience.

I'm not sure how genuine their interest is, though? I'd imagine they'd rather have Enrique for example but if they can get Clichy for <£10M, then it's a bargain really.

Interesting that Joss. I think he's a bargain for £7m, less so for £10m. Think he'd do well under a decent defensive coach like Clarke and in a settled back four. Might just be leverage for the Enrique deal still. Who were you expecting to be in for him last summer?

Chamberlain offer materialised just as Arsenal began to be linked to Dann. Think that people are getting their negotiating positions lined up again so they don't end up in bidding wars. Can't see us doing anything more than stirring the pot there so you lot pay more for Chamberlain. Think our new owners are fully versed in the dark side of sports transfers. Part of me likes it, part of me doesn't.

You need to be in this market, trying to outwit your rivals has become a shady business
