Got my Arsenal shirt today... Expensive, but a nice kit IMO.
Couldn't help but laugh in the Armoury, though when whatever was playing on Arsenal TV showed Henry's winning goal at the Emirates versus Man Utd with the caption: "Under Arsene Wenger, Arsenal continue to play until the final whistle".
Oh the irony.

How much does a shirt cost over there?
£45 - £50
That's not that bad. Twice as much as my club's shirt, but I expected something horribly higher.

I paid £45 for short sleeve shirt, £6 for Premier League patches, and £13 for name & number (£6.50 for custom name, £6.50 for number), so that's £64.00. Was going to get the full kit but after so much for just a top, I thought **** it.

At kitbag.com the shirt is £40, patches cost £5 (although there isn't the option for those on the new kit yet) and it's £11.95 to get your name + number or £10 for a player + number.
I got my Nasri one last year from them for NZ$90 while the shirt itself over here is NZ$150.

I was at the Timbers match last night, and honestly no one could tell what the the red was for. I still cant believe i got a got chance to see Henry while he's still playing, thats one off the bucket list.

Haha. Alas I've only seen him play once live, and that was when he had a Barca shirt on last season (er - 2 seasons ago, I guess), but I'm going to see him at the Emirates Cup as well... Such a legend, and a real Gooner.

Just read an article about why Cesc Fabregas should be sold. Hate to be rude, but it's really not thought through very much at all.

Very few teams in Europe still use a traditional 4-4-2, and as I pointed out in my Poacher article, RvP is far more suited to, and productive in terms of goals in a lone striker's role.

Rossell says Cesc is doing everything he can to move to Barcelona, something El Mundo have picked up and claim (despite Cesc's comments the other day) that Fabregas is considering missing training if Wenger doesn't fulfil his "promise" to let him go.

That's the asking price. I think Arsenal know they can't pay it, so we just put the price at whatever the **** we want every summer and they can't do much about it. It's pathetic really.
It's like a fat guy on a treadmill chasing a chocolate bar on a string in front of him. Every time he reaches out, but doesn't go far enough, the guy holding the stick with the string just moves the chocolate that much further away from him so he can't reach it. He's losing weight as he tries to get there (= Barca's success) but he just can't quite get the chocolate bar he wants.
I'm REALLY hungry now.
They've pretty much bought Sanchez now anyway. So that gets rid of what? £30m? Looks like Cesc will be leading out the Arsenal again this year.

Pretty difficult to come to that conclusion given the contradicting reports about. I've seen 3 pieces today, each saying a different club is in the driving seat for the signing of Sanchez.
