So Arsenal fans, assuming Fabregas goes. Will he be considered a legend, or just another good player?
Legend.

Despite all the **** thats gone on for the last couple of seasons, he has been impeccable on the pitch. One of the biggest reasons for how we play our game now and forever gave it all for us. Joined us as a young kid who had a bright future and will leave us as one of the best players around. The only thing he hasn't done for us was lead us to the title and I think that is something he will be dissappointed in. 303 games, 57 goals and 100 assists only tell half the story of how great he is.

For me, a legend.

Interesting to know about those Jadson rumours. Please Arsene don't dissapoint us and make good use of the money if Fabregas and Nasri leave.

1. Lol @ Almunia
2. 2.25 Phil Jones
3. 2.40. Classic XD
I feel sorry for you guys :(

Fabregas and Nasri are not in the squad for Newcastle game?

Cesc is still not "match fit" and Nasri has a "Muscular" problem.

Fantastic video of Jadson:

Arsenal will finish outside the top 4 this season.

Cesc & Nasri will leave.

No idea why Wenger is copping so much flack for what he said in the press conference ('I expect nobody to leave' for those who don't know). Did people really expect him to come out and announce Cesc and Nasri will be leaving the club? He will only talk about it when the deal has gone through, we've never talked about players leaving before they do before. Why should this time be different.

Because a) I think most people realise that it's more than just minor injuries keeping Cesc and Nasri out of the squad. Sometimes, just sometimes, I wish he'd just be clear on that.

and b) What about Bendtner, Eboue, Almunia - who were all "on the verge" of moves away a week ago? Has he decided to keep them after all?

a) Meh, I'd rather he didn't talk about transfer until they were done deals.

b) Very good question. I reckon at least 2 of those 3 will still be here in 3 weeks time.

I'd like him to clear up the Cesc situation once and for all. It's ridiculous that the dot com website tells us absolutely nothing when we get actual information from reliable media sources. They really suck at PR ;)

I think Almunia will still be here (God knows why), but won't play. Just that we can't actually get rid of him because (surprisingly enough) no one wants him. I get the feeling Bendtner might stay too, although that won't be greeted with the best reaction form the fans after his comments during the summer. Eboue seems most likely to leave, but our problem is that while we don't pay top-rate wages for our major players (Cesc is earning about half as much as Yaya Toure), we pay mediocre players excessive wages for their level.

Denilson, Rosicky (Who I like, but still), Bendtner, Almunia are all earning 40K+ and the clubs that could be interested in signing them, can't afford those wages. Bendtner prices himself out of most moves, though - I can just imagine him turning up with a piece of paper, sliding it across a desk and looking confident as the manager bawks at the writing saying:

Demands:
£300,000/week.

Been told Cesc transfer is done, although he was training this morning with Arsenal.

Just heard about that. Done and dusted. On his way to Madrid

I don't think it's true, as it's in 'abscence of a official confirmation.' You really think that as soon as Barca sign Fabregas they wont announce it within a second claiming that they've 'won' the battle to take Cesc home?

Wonder if Arsenal will up their bid for Jagielka now or another CB with this transfer money?

I'd like to say good luck, but I can't. I hate Barcelona too much for that.

I don't (can't) wish bad on him. He's been a legend, and a terrific player for the club. Thanks for everything, Cesc.

Now we just wait 8 years until Barca won't Toral and Bellerin back.

Bellerin maybe, but I don't think Toral will.

All but official. Pique confirmed it on his twitter, too. And yes, we all know what he's like, but still...

Pretty much everyone saying he's on a plane to Barcelona now after saying goodbye to his team-mates this morning.

Hope so. Hope Mata comes in too.

Pleased it's finally happened, just hope it means Arsenal don't go for Mata, although that looks unlikely atm.
