to Arsenal Captain would have been more apt ;)

imo legend is way over used these days....

I used legend due to the interview I conducted. One of the questions was "Do you believe Cesc Fabregas is one of Arsenal's greatest ever players?" and they all said yes. Makes him a legend IMO.

Give it a read. Post some comments/feedback! :)

Fact he's definitely in our top 10 players ever to play for the club means he's a legend IMO. But what does it matter? Great player, we'll miss him.

Yeahhhh but I spect they think their mate dave from down the pub is a "legend" cause he can down a pint is 3 seconds ;)

I've had a scan mate but I'll have a proper read in a bit.

Legend in football terms, to me, means players like Maldini, Del Piero, Scholes, Raul, Totti, etc. How anyone can be conidered a legend after 300 odd apperances for a club & not winning many trophys doesnt sit well with me, although he was obviously an awesome player :). Wish he had stayed to get Arsenal winning things again

Gave it a quick read. Think it sums up the views of Arsenal as a whole.

JB: I used to respect Barcelona as a club. Their attractive football, world-class players and incredible battles with their arch-rivals Real Madrid. But over the past few years, they've been simply disgraceful. "More than a club" has become an ironic term that is used against them to prove their arrogance. Even on the pitch, they've become a disgrace. They haven't had a red card for something like 2 years, and when you watch them play you realise why. Their play-acting and attitude in general means I now despise them as a club.

I don't know who JB is, he makes some good points but just would like to point out they had a couple of sending offs in La Liga last year and 1 in the champions league. ;)

Sarcasm detectors aren't on so just in case, JB is our very own Joss Bennett. :)

Samir Nasri will join Manchester City by the weekend after Arsenal agreed to accept £22million for the midfielder.

The Gunners were holding out for £25m after Nasri turned down a deal worth £110,000-a-week that would have made him the highest paid player at the club following the sale of Cesc Fabregas.

But 24-year-old Nasri is adamant his future lies elsewhere and manager Arsene Wenger has reluctantly decided to cash in on a player whose contract expires at the end of the season.

:O Glad your leaving $amir Na$ri hope you fail at city.

Jagielka is at Manchester Airport as speculation continues over a possible move to Arsenal... (airport is closest to where he lives, pics prove he's there)

A plane from Manchester to London? seems a bit pointless...

Footballers fly everywhere. My brother works at the club and he said something about anywhere further than Manchester, and they scrap the coach and get a plane. When you have the dosh, you splash it I guess.

Some sources claim that Everton will let Jags and Baines go for £12m each. TBH, I don't see any truth in that.
