Solid Aussie batting line up. Really this England side is the Aussie side of past times, what you are asking of these Spinners is to come in against a team on top form, Finn has come in against a team low on confidence, Would Finn be this good against Hayden, Langer the old Aussie, No. Just like Jimmy couldn't handle it all them years ago. You cant throw someone in against a side in top form( England) with top players( England), when you are out of form( Australia) and with the pressures of the Ashes series, and expect them to perform, It is foolish to say the very least.

Okay, so you've said there's three factors you need to consider when deciding not to bring these kids in, right?

Form
Quality of Players
Pressure of the Ashes

As far as I can tell, Finn is competing against 2 out of 3 of them and is performing admirably. Does one extra area make it impossible for these new kids to compete? Nah, definately not.

Also, the fact you're comparing us to the old Aussies is ridiculous. They were better than we are now in ALL compartments.

But we where better then this Aussie side in All Compartments, And come on, where they really that much better then us....

Finn isn't making his Test Debut in an ashes side, and he has a lot less pressure then the Aussies stupid comparison every spinner has with Warne, and the fact they are 1-0 down on home soil, and haven't looked like winning a match yet. Whist Finn is playing in a side full of confidence and winning test matches... When was the last time the Aussies where doing that....?

Yes, they were. Oh, and the reason Anderson got dominated by them back in the day was because he was not as good as he is now. Doesn't take a genius.

Smith, Krejza, White etc. have all played Tests before. They wouldn't be making their debuts either.

Oh, and don't use that excuse. If anything Aussie spinners have less pressure due to the fact that everyone knows they've rolled through about five since Warne's departure.

So Anderson Wasn't ready? Just like these Punks... Whilst Haurtiz is ready, Hence taking 63 test wickets..... Doesn't take a genius to release that...

Less Pressure.... Everyone of them is dubbed the next Warne, and they are now losing, Whoever comes in, will be expected to turn the series around for them, This obsession with the New Warne is more sad, then our obsession with the new Botham...

They have got through 9 spinners since Warne, So whoever picked to play, knows they have to make an instant impact or be kicked out.. Thats an added pressure.

Hauritz is not sodding ready. He averages 42 at First Class level. That's a disgrace. That's over double what McGrath averaged FFS.

Are you serious? That's a ridiculous statement. No, not everyone is dubbed the new Warne. Look at Beer, for example. Everyone is talking about how he is going to be carted. No-one expects Beer to win the series for the Aussies.

Scott, I have to give it to you, you are very good at trolling.

In England he has been cartered, The Aussie i know, are talking him up big time.. Hauritz has gopt 63 test wickets in 17 test, thats not a bad stat tbh. He is proven to be Australia best international spinner, No doubt about it.

I Know

I'm on another forum which is 80% Aussies and they're talking about who's next after Beer.

I'm going to stop replying now as you're talking complete bullshit, and just trolling.

I know mate, Most people need to stop discussing with me, when they are losing...

I personally agree with Scott tbh.

Says the guy who thinks someone who averages 42 at First Class Cricket is Australia's best spinner.

Best Option yes, As he has 63 test wickets to his name.. It really isn't hard to work out

I think any spinner that comes into the team will be compared with Warne, thats why they have gone through so many since he retired, because none of them have much of a chance to settle in and play in a consistant team, giving them a chance to bed in and gain form.

Hauritz is their most experienced spin bowler, and considering your statement of 'they are already looking for the next spinner after Beer' hardly shows that they have confidence in Beer being any good. So surely using someone who has experience and wickets at that level would be more suited than sending in a fairly unknown and inexperienced player?

And the Aussie publics plan to get Warne back is just laughable, I mean, how bad can you be? Granted he was one of the best spin bowlers ever, but he is so past it. He can play 2020, where all he has to do is bowl 4 overs. I doubt he has the stamina to bowl 20 overs in a day if needed.

If you can't understand that people have different opinions than you and dismiss them as 'trolling', then I suggest you stay away from internet forums.

Hand bags away now ladies, and let's get down to the real task in hand... how on earth we're going to stay up till 2:30 am till start of play every morning!
