Potential? Chelsea's first squad was already whooping the top 3 in direct games last year, the #1 problem was lack of backup players and points kept leaking in games with lower table clubs. Now when all the loanies are back that's no longer a problem. The rest of top 3 has new managers that are inexperienced at top level/in the Prem. Last but not least, Benitez already drilled the hobbit gang in terms of defensive contribution, which makes Mourinho's job pre-season that much easier.

You've got everything lined up for the title as far as I'm concerned, unless something crazy happens like CR7 coming back to United.
 
I used potential due to the squad age. You can be the best in the world and still have the potential to be better.. Give it 2/3 years and this side could be dominating England, maybe Europe. Obviously a lot of factors effect that but they have the potential to do so.

I think you're underestimating Pellegrini and City, IMO they are our biggest threats to the title.

stayed the same? even if they have they romped the league last season u can also look at it in a way that there young players have had 1more year experience so they will come back better? i do feel chelsea are faves but alot of people over the years have written off utd

Seems abit funny to me David Luiz is out of the friendly with Real Madrid for reasons which haven't been answered unless I'm missing something and he is injured?

Gigi Salmom posted pictures of Luiz undergoing Physio for his injury in case anyone seems to think their is an ulterior motive for him missing the game. I really don't know why people think Mata and Luiz are on the market, it's silly even for silly season

I agree it is pretty ridiculous, but after they apparently offered Luiz or Mata + cash for Rooney there's always going to be rumours
