It's not an extreme example at all. The issues around his time are actually more pertinent, since it turns out most of the grievances were largely bullshit, like the fact the quotes were made up.

You are saying it will surely benefit the team. So I will ask a for a 4th time, would you have been happy and ok with it if it had been Rafa doing it to benefit the side, or AVB?

I never said it was surely benefit the team. All I said was that if we keep winning, then I am fine with whoever steps onto the field

Why is it that no Chelsea fan will give me a straight answer on this? If it was Rafa saying the same things, would you have been so accepting, since you believe Jose is doing it for the right reasons?

I can say as a Chelsea fan that I probably wouldn't have accepted it if it had been AVB or Rafa. I'm willing to trust Jose because of his reputation and hope he does the right thing by Chelsea.

If Rafa did the same I'd bet more fans would be willing to accept it given the strength in depth we have. If he dropped Mata last season for any reason other than resting him then he'd have a problem - as we only had Benayoun & Marin coming in.

Most of the discontent about Mata not playing much has come from the media rather than fans. Why is there no mention of Azpilicueta not playing, one of the best right backs in the league last season? Mata should've probably played vs Fulham the other week but if you don't understand why he was left out of the games like Bayern in the SC & United away then there's no helping you.

Because it's a ******* rhetorical question Michael. We know what would have happened.

Majority of fans love Jose so blindly that they won't admit any flaws and mistakes made by him. It's ******* ridic.

You seem to have ignored my post.

And someone like Mata is actually very important to that. If you have him on the pitch, he can ping it about from deep, picking up the counter-attacking wingers such as Hazard and Oscar. It was the same with Sneijder at Inter. So you can hardly argue that Mata's not the type of player Mourinho often has in his teams.

Ben?tez has won the Champions League, Europa League, La Liga (twice, with Valencia), FA Cup, Italian Cup, European Supercup and Club World Championship. Yes, that's not quite as good as Mourinho, but it can easily be argued that he is a world class manager. Why didn't you believe in him?

Yes Rafa has won things in the past but he has massive flaws and these flaws are ones i laughed about when he was managing Liverpool hence the main reason i did not want him at Chelsea. Very stubborn man who does not learn from his mistakes and he proved that time and time again last season.

Rafa never said them and Jose is saying them so why even bring it up? Jose is doing it, he explained in detail why he is doing it, stats prove why he is doing it and he is a world class manager so the majority will trust him.

Are you suggesting Mourinho doesn't have 'massive flaws' and doesn't learn from his mistakes? His last season at Madrid was a massive failure, and his first at Inter wasn't great either. And Mourinho is one of the most stubborn out there.

He dropped a keeper at Madrid which led to tensions elsewhere even though that keeper is being dropped by the new manager now. All managers make mistakes but its learning from them, Rafa is the most one tracked manager i have seen.

i know he was dropped last year but thought he was playing again until he picked up a injury v Gala 2 weeks ago or has he been dropped again?

The irony being Mourinho isn't much better when it comes to setting up a team.

Yeah that Gala game was his first i believe of the season. Lopez is Madrid's number 1 these days.

No such problem with setting up a team, its about when to change it when things are not going your way. Instead of sitting on your **** scribbling down bullshit make a change!

It was Mourinho's fault to drop Casillas, especially since it was less for footballing reasons than for personal reasons.

He plays in the Champions League but still isn't the number 1, I believe.

The last sentence applies to Mourinho (regarding both Casillas and Mata)!

Reports De Bruyne is currently being made to train with the under 21s and the situation with him is very bad. Looks like he will be off pretty soon then :(

What happend with him? Saw him in first games and he looked pretty good.

I really don't know I thought he started pretty well too had a bad game against Swindon but that can't be the reason why he is training with reserves and not getting in the match day squads. Got to be something going on behind closed doors between him and Mourinho.

Might be blessing in disguise for him as a player. Can't see him breaking into first 11 completely and now it might be that he's off in january.

Heard also a rumour that you are prepared to let Courtois join Athletico if they will give you Costa. Can't remember where it was or was it even any of the "reliable" sites.

But of course. Who else will do such a stupid thing if not us.

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. Nothing unsavory going on in that regard mate, don't worry :)
