Jose says that all the time. Let him be.

Not that, it was funny because they didn't even register a shot on target until 85th minute. Had 7 attempts to our 13. We played on the counter, not for a draw. Hit crossbar once and Willians poor decision making fkd up our two of best chances on the counter.

He thinks Arsenal deserved win because? They had more possession, passes?

Because presumably he has to say that kind of thing to help his team recover, and because you need to take some 'positives' from a game. Mourinho's tactics were great, they defended well and frustrated the attack, hence all the blocks instead of shots on target. I'd say personally (I didn't see the game, just read the commentary) that Chelsea looked the more potent side, although the Willian/Mikel decisions could have changed the game, however the fact of the matter is no shots on target meaning no goals is no surprise, and Wenger needs to be harsh with his team rather than forever letting them feel decisions are 'unfair'.

Was a pretty boring game for the most parts, neither team looked like either wanted to or could get anything going upfront.
Giroud had a couple of chances put his 30% shot accuracy messed them up and Chelsea could have gotten one or two save for some poor judgment, fair result in the end.

That being said though, Mikel is a little lucky to still be on the pitch.

Mikel... Arteta? xD

TBF, they both went for a studs up challenge, Obi touched the ball, but also hit Arteta's calf. I'd have preferred Yellow for both TBH, or maybe Red for Obi and Yellow for Arteta. I've watched that tackle like 30 times and changed my opinion twice. But refs can't do that.

Fair enough.

Both went for it sure but Arteta was always getting to it, Mikel just goes right into his leg.
Could have easily been sent off and to get away with it especially with the yellow that was given out later for something less dangerous.

There's also a GIF from different angle where it shows Mikel actually touched ball before Arteta, so it means he was going for the ball, yes he hit his leg. I won't say he got away with it, but could've been red on any other day. TBF Mike dean was horrible, you don't let players get away in these sort of games in this weather.

Ah fair enough don't think I've seen the other one, doesn't look like he gets to it in this one.
Definitely can consider himself lucky either way, same can be said for Arteta, Mike Dean was pretty dire.

Apparently Balotelli will be available in January. Would be a very interesting option although didn't Mourinho call him 'unmanageable' once? Even then, he is a great striker and the sort who can win you the title ... Thoughts?

Balotelli and Guarin would be amazing buys in January ... All things considered

The same Balotelli who left this country because of the English media? Can't see it.

Oh please Mou, buy Balotelli. It would be good for Chelsea, but it would be ****** amazing having Balo in BPL.

If I'm not mistaken, he also said something along the lines of "he's currently playing at 25% of his ability; if he plays at 50%, he'll be the best player in the world; if he plays at 100%, he'll be the best player of all time". Balotelli would be a very interesting signing for a number of reasons.
