It's been just over six months though.
Oh man I still think this transfer is weird from tactical point of view, but the meltdowns on blue side of the internet are glorious.
Jesus Christ it is not the end of the world! Yes Utd will be stronger but so will Chelsea with the 40million invested on new players we actually need! The way some people are going on is if the club has been liquidated its embarrassing!
We are selling Mata to get Salah -- ******* BRILLIANT.
Or we are selling a player who has spent most of the last 6 months on the bench, will continue to spend the next 6 months on the bench. A player who does not suit our system and never will. And possibly getting a player who plays a role we don't actually have! Makes sense to me
I mean if we were getting Rooney then at least I would have been ambivalent to this transfer but no ... We are bending over for a club who ****** up our summer transfer plans by completely stonewalling us for Rooney and forcing us to bring in a 32 y/old from Russia. Seriously wtf
Trust Chelsea to screw things up when for once in a long time, things were looking close to perfect
When RVP was sold to United, I'm sure Carl said 'OMG, ONLY ARSENAL CAN DO THAT', but now, when we are about to do the same mental thing Arsenal did (and will probably do it) -- 'MAKES SENSE TO ME' ; 'WELL, IT MUST, CUZ JOSE IS DOING IT'
In all honesty, selling Mata to United for ?40m is less mental than making your best player sit on the bench for six months.
Never sell your best player to a rival, what are you trying to say? Sell him to PSG/Monaco/Italy/Spain/Germany/wherever the ****.
So? Do you honestly think United will ever reach that level of domination they did under Fergie with Moyes at the helm? Probably not ... But don't worry, Chelsea will do their absolute best to help you![]()
It's okay, you have another Marin now.
Well no, of course I don't. But it's melodramatic to insist it when the season hasn't even come to a close. SAF was a huge anomaly.
