Pretty impressive performance so far, with a bit of help from the ref . Jose needs to sub Ramires or he won't stay on the pitch for long.

Schurrle was doing very little. He just seemed determined to drop back instead of leading the line.

We can still win this, but holy **** we've made it hard on ourselves.

There was a balance. Torres got on the pitch and it all fell apart. We were doing okay with Schurrle no matter how little he was doing, he did more than Torres.
 
Well that was weird. First half was amazing, then PSG lost two key players to injuries, and then Chelsea...falls apart.

You couldn't make that stuff up.
 
Strange game. Every goal was a combination of individual errors.

I guess us fans have to still say we are favourites or otherwise we've been brainwashed.
 
Figures that one of the only games Pastore would turn up in since moving to Paris would be against us...
 
Mourinho has to take a lot of blame. Didn't change his game plan, Schurrle wasn't working, took too long to change it. And then leaving before full time is just bad sportsmanship
 
saw most of the game no way in **** were thay 3 goals better you will do them at home
 
Ibra out with injury for few weeks, so there's that.

Then again, he barely showed up for the game while he's replacement was tearing you apart.
 
Still CL favourites ... I don't care what people say about the 2 goal deficit against one of the best teams in the world who only have one competition to focus on. I am going to ignore reality and say we are favourites. I will not allow Mourinho to brainwash me

Who'd he sub in for him? Torres? He did and we know how it worked out.

He even clarified how and why Schurrle was selected a striker. He said he knew Schurrle isn't proper striker and isn't going to make runs like a "real striker" but when he was upfront, Chelsea were enjoying decent possession and were in control of the game.

You L'pool fans need stop getting on Jose's back after anything happens with Chelsea.

There was a reason he said we aren't favorites and it was clear with our deficiency in striker department and to an extent in midfield until January. But of course, when he says we'll be favorites next season, he's brainwashing us.

Ha ha.

2 Goals deficit isn't too big to overturn at Bridge. We got a crucial away goal, Ibra might also be injured and Ramires suspension could prove to be blessing in disguise, AGAIN.
 
Gets into work tonight and already annoyed i'm missing the game but not to worry i have listened to many games at work in my 10 months at this place so that will have to do. I grab my work sheet (which tells me what i need to do tonight etc) and my manager who had already left wrote "no earphones in tonight, no-one else does it so its not fair if you do", now this has not been a problem since i have been there so why now my Liverpool supporting manager!!!!

Luckily or not so luckily i ordered SkySports before i left for work for this month so i thought i'd watch the full game when i got in regardless. Must say i was very disappointed with the defensive display and i think it all stemmed from Luiz in midfield. Now i know many had been saying for ages "Luiz is a midfielder" and i always dis-agreed and that was because we never had the right partner for him. That changed when we got Matic but him and Ramires was a car crash waiting to happen. If Luiz was going to play in the middle tonight then it needed to be along side an actual defensive midfielder an actual sitter in Mikel.

I always felt this would be a tough tie, i rate PSG very highly as a team and although 3-1 is not over (as we all know) this is a different kettle of fish than Napoli, this side is far more rounded as a squad. All i can say is i cannot wait for the return of Eto'o!

You guys had better pray that Eto'o remains fit for the return leg. You're literally without a striker :\ Torres can't score a goal if it is empty and inviting him to, and Schurrle is good as a drop back F9, but not for goal-scoring. TBH, I thought Schurrle was way more effective when Hazard used flick the ball, with Schurrle cutting inside to score [Back in the League]. Oh well, you'll need to contain Cavani and score 2/3 at home, so it's gonna be an interesting match. I was actually hoping for an all-English final once again between us and Chelsea (and we beating you again in the final, but that's splitting hairs =P), but both look kinda unlikely.
