Congratulations, it was a fully-deserved win! PSG didn't turn up tonight and you made them pay, even though the attack wasn't at its best. It wasn't so much about the technical ability or domination tonight but the mental resilience and desire; well played Jose, well played.
1. No it really isn't. Lukaku seems like a sensible guy, and I'm sure he knows that at this stage of his career, playing games is more important than sitting on the bench on a high salary. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is hypothetical, is it not?
2. You can hardly accuse me of taking a narrow-minded view of things. Lukaku and Mourinho have had disagreements this season and Lukaku himself (if I'm not mistaken) has recently said that he would like to join Everton if they Top 4.
3. I'm pretty sure Carra would much rather play for Liverpool than Everton now, in fact, he probably hates the idea of playing for Everton.
1) Except he will get enough games at Chelsea so even in this hypothetical world, your point falls flat
2) They never had any disagreements. Lukaku had nothing but praise for Mourinho all season. Also he said he would consider joining Everton in the top 4 but I don't see how that will happen unless Jose doesn't want him
3) Yes that's because he has become a legend at Liverpool. I am pretty sure he is more of an anomaly rather than a trend. Also you completely ignored my argument about how 'boyhood club' is a factor, even if it isn't the most significant one
I'm not sure how you can say for sure that he will get enough games. Hence, the point of him leaving loan, because he wasn't convinced he would get enough games.
That was because when Eto'o came in at the start of this season, there were two strikers ahead of him in the pecking order. Possibly three. After he has proved himself yet again at another EPL team ... Their will probably be only one striker ahead of him next season so he will get enough games. Granted he won't get as many games as he will get at Everton but the difference won't be so huge that he will consider moving clubs
We dont know that for sure. What drives him ( as shown by the interview) is being able to play enough currently. Especially if you go out and buy Diego Costa.

And few papers even reported that he asked for a transfer and loan was like a compromise move for both parties.
Romelu Lukaku asked Chelsea for transfer before joining Everton | Football | The Guardian
Btw, Luiz was superb yesterday so was most of Chelsea team, shame though PSG played like ******* and manager lacked balls to attack Chelsea. They had some excellent players like Lavezzi, Lucas, Cavani but played very conservative game which backfired big time.
IMO he should play the same role like he did yesterday along with Matic. That's a solid base to build very good attacking team.
The article says that Lukaku was dismayed that he would be behind 3 strikers in the pecking order and that's why he asked for a transfer request however, this is something which will not be the case next season. I highly doubt he made a transfer request anyways as he has come out at times this season to say that he never had a problem with Mourinho or Chelsea
So you are basically saying that Lukaku is willing to leave his boyhood club, leave behind the guidance of a manager he calls the 'best in the world' and take a contract worth much less simply so that he can play 5-6 more games at a smaller club where he won't exactly be playing alongside world-class players like Azpilicueta, Hazard and Oscar either
Actually I didnt say anything of the kind. Ignoring the strawman argument of what you just said, Lukaku has clearly (by his own words) placed more importance on playing regularly, that is all I've said.
You keep say Jose will do this will do that. The whole point is that there is no guarantee of what he will do. That is why he went on loan in the first place! No one knows what Jose will do with the forwards next season, and that will determine what Lukaku does.
Running off and hiding on loan are you serious? You have a seriously flawed view on player development. He is 20, the next two years are vital to his development, playing as much as possible under a coach that develops players well (Martinez) at a good level is one of the best thing you can do to eventually reach the top. Trying to "prove yourself against the best" at that age is an entirely archaic notion. At that age game exposure and off the pitch learning is so, so important (this is where young English talent struggles)
De Bruyne got 3 league starts....
Like how Jose in 2007 said it was unfair to sack him and in 2013 said he left Chelsea by mutual consent?
Jose himself said in that interview to ask Lukaku for the reason he was out on loan as Jose was frustrated with everyone saying "hope Jose is watching it".
Lukaku asked to go on loan because he wasn't confident of competing with the likes of Torres, Ba and Eto'o for minutes. Jose actually wanted him to stay. That's why Jose was annoyed when everyone was on his back for letting Lukaku go on loan. Fact is that Jose had very little choice in the matter as Lukaku was persistent and it was a WC year
