If you have something to say, say it without the trolling please.

Not sure how I was trolling but OK...

Ashley Cole saying he's "committed to Chelsea" means sweet FA because he said exactly the same thing a year before he left Arsenal. We all know how 'persuasive' Mourinho was in getting Cole to join Chelsea a year before he actually left. He could just as easily do that with R. Madrid if he wants him enough.

I was wondering if CJACKO, who said to me he sees nothing wrong with tapping-up, would mind/complain if Mourinho did that with Cashley for the second time.

That's fine. Just seemed to me that you were just trying to spark an argument with Cjacko.

ok first stop trolling bud :)
second , Ashley is more mature person now, than he used to be back in the day. So I dont know if he is serious now, nobody knows tbh. But if he says that now, the chance of it being true is bigger maybe.

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Arsenal | Cole committed to Arsenal cause

Means ******-all.

Also - just realised that Cashley won more in 5 seasons at Arsenal than in 5 seasons at Chelsea..

I wonder, CJACKO - If Mourinho taps up Cashley Hole (again), will you be OK with that?

If Cole wanted to join Madrid then i would have no problem with that at all no. But he is happy at Chelsea as we are a club that win things.

And he won 7 at Arsenal and has won 6 at Chelsea so 1 single trophy. Also at Chelsea he has got into the Uefa team of the year, been Chelsea player's player of the year twice, won our goal of the season once and been Englands player of the year all while he has been at Chelsea.

Well that's a moot argument, and you're ignoring the crux of my question: Would you mind if Cole joined Real Madrid having been tapped up illegally by Mourinho?

You're a club that wins things - so was Arsenal when he was tapped up by Mourinho. As I said, he won more trophies (7) in five years than he has at Chelsea (.6) in 5 years. That didn't stop him going, though did it? Madrid is a club that will undoubtedly be winning things for the next 5 years or so on a regular basis.

Unlike Arsenal and their fans my motto is no player is bigger than the club and if Cole was tapped up and joined Madrid i would say good riddence now time to replace him.

What are you complaining about anyway back all them years ago you lot thought you got the better end of the deal getting William C**T Gallas? But if Cole didnt join us they he wouldnt have been able to add to his trophy cabenet would he.

It's not about a player being bigger than a club. It's the principle that Chelsea approached him illegally, behind Arsenal's back, and effectively forced through the transfer a year before it went through. But you don't see anything wrong with that.

And who knows? Maybe he would have won things with Arsenal.

All I'm saying is that there's no reason to believe Cole is in any way committed to Chelsea. He said it about Arsenal, and then he left.

Wouldnt be a bad time to lose him. He's not goingto get any better, and you'd command a good fee for him

Maybe thats just the way Cjacko feels about it, at least he is consistent should it happen to them

What he could have won is ifs, buts and maybes

And Cole has changed as a person, more inclined to believe him now than 5 years ago. Jose was interested last year, could have gone then if he really wanted

Cole didnt have to agree to meet did he?? He wanted out simple as that and with Arsenal's track record which has been proved with Fabregas lately you dont let players leave if they want to go. Well until this season when it seems the club has given up and realised its time for something new as this policy hasent been working for what will be 7 years.

I do believe Cole because you can tell he is happy and everything in his life is going back to the way he wants it to be. He has just got back with his missis who wants to stay in London and im pretty sure he owes her that much.

i dont want Cole to go more than any other Chelsea fan but age is against him and his ankle injurys dosent help that. I think if Chelsea wanted to sell him this summer we could easily get 15-25mill for him even with them circumstances but that just shows what a tremendous player he is.

Very much so, it takes a man to actually come out and say "i have made mistakes" and he has done this on many occasions. Mainly because he keeps doing things lol. But yer in the last 2-3 years he has really knuckled down and tried to keep out of the limelight and with the whole shooting accident out the way he has done that.

Let them have him.. Not good enough for us. Maybe Cahill is the better choice.

Its going to be a big battle for Pastore bit if the price is above 35m, then I doubt United will go for him leaving it between us and City

I wouldnt be willing to pay above 35 for him either. Its too much, and he is not a better playmaker than Modric for example, not to mention that Sneijder would be the ideal choice.

it's like the neymar situation. he's "close" to signing for everyone who's interested in him, but he ends up not moving.

BTW, your avatar brings up the question - What the ****'s happened to Pato? I mean, he is one of the best tallents, why nobody wants him?

If either of them were going stright into our first team then yer Cahill would be the better option but Dann is a year younger than Cahill and would cost alot less. Lets be honest if we get either of them they are going to be squad players just, bit part players for a year or two so Dann would be the better option.

Pato had a sensational year with Milan and is now going out with Burlasconi's daughter so he is pretty much staying at Milan.
