Line from Spanish press: Real Sociedad have been approached by Chelsea regarding Left Winger Antoine Griezmann. I can't verify this but I do know Alvial was watching him at least once (caught on sky cameras during a LL game I caught). Would love to see him come in to be honest, also linked with Ander Herrera and making a move for Alan Dzagoaev (Terrible mispel probably), they seem less likely but like we all said we just need to wait and see on what players are linked post training tomorrow.

Ander Herrera is/has joining/joined Athletic Bilbao and Alan Dzagoev - who is a Chelsea fan apparently, is thought to be joining Zenit last I heard.

Griezmann is one of my favourite players in Europe and Ander Herrera is a small CF/ST with great technical ability. Dzagoev has just never been fully consistent across the season would welcome any of the 3 tbh but would 100 pct take Griezmann right now...

Well its young players we need and i would suspect they cost less than the likes of Neymar/Pastore etc.

Shame, i remember his performance at OT when he scored he looked a dead cert to replace Lamps. And you called me Jacko lol.

Dodgy 'C' key. :P

Certainly. Griezmann had a good season, 7 goals and 1 assist for a sub-par team. My favourite part of him is his crossing though, a good crosser. Just over 2 accurate crosses per game (by comparison, the same as Jesus Navas) and a quick, wonderful dribbler. Like a French Albrighton. :P

@Chris with Muniain Toquero Llorente he would be free, even Arsenal have been linked. Unlikely but not impossible, links between RA and CSKA are more important than CSKA-Zenit and I doubt they would sell to Zenit personally.

That's what I thought with Dzagoev, but CSKA and Zenit have apparently had a meeting about the transfer, but Dzagoev wouldn't want to go to Zenit. But he may well do as he had a bit of a falling out with Leonid Slutsky and had been training with the youth team earlier this year because of it and was only a 70th minute substitute against Amkar and a 74th minute sub against Lokomotiv.

says on the info that comes up on the bottom of ssn that Modric is expected to tell Levy that he wants to leave for Chelsea :)

haha. I dont understand why they just dont wait, and then get it right

Slow days i suspect, it must get boring reporting the same old thing hour after hour so they say things that seem probable to happen before they actually do and on the off chance it dosent happen they look stupid.

To be fair I would normally trust SS with English club matters but anything external to English clubs or foreign players coming in normally means they are out of their depth,

Their idea of footballing knowledge is getting ex players from the 70's/80's come in and give an opinion on a foreign manager/player coming in who's normally seen to be stealing the limelight from British managers like Alan Curbishley (I heard someone on there claim he should have got the AV job...Get real).

And then I hear people talking about Cabaye going ''Well he's a decent signing but you would expect Newcastle to be aiming a little higher'', and the presenters on there let those comments lie, he just left the French league winners to be at Newcastle ffs...

And if anyone on there mentions AVB's age one more *cking time...
