We tried to fast track them all at the same time and it didnt work. They needed more expirience and they got that last season by going on loan. This season they either need another loan deal or to be squad players for Chelsea. The current youth players we have are the best the club has ever produced without a shaddow of a doubt.

Thats what i said. Transition from youth player to first team player is not right.
You fail to point out a day or two before the Sunderland game Bruma had played 90minutes for our reserves hence why Carlo didnt start with him. There is no buyout clause in Bruma's loan and Chelsea have the option to bring him back after one year. He has also come out and said he still vows to make his mark at Chelsea after this loan deal, when he comes back he will be 21 and full of expirience. As CB's go Ivanovic's natural position is CB so thats 4 CB's alltogether in the side with 2 rightbacks to fill in if he needs to go back to CB.

You fail to see the point that there was no need to play Bruma in that reserves game instead he could have saved Bruma to play against Sunderland.

Deadwood?? Ferriera is a very proffesional squad player, remember the job he done on Bale last season!!!! This man can still do a job at Chelsea and you need players like that in the squad. When he starts giving away stupid free-kicks or penaltys (like Neville should have done last season if the refs standards were better) then i will say enough is enough.

Professional? Yes
Dead Wood? Yes. Funny how you said Joe Cole, Ballack, Belletti were all dead wood when they contributed more than Ferriera.

Oh Refs standards, lets not go there. You would have seen completely different scoreline against us.

seen this on a fb page but I dont know how true it is: Essien has injured himself again during the training , and reports said that Michael essien injured his cruciate ligaments .

tbh I think if a club like AC Milan come in with an offer in the future we might aswell get rid as much as I love Essien he is getting all these serious injuries and in his 6 years at Chelsea his been out injured for about 2 of those years.

edit: apparently this injury is set to keep him out of action for up to 7 months :S

jeez...I love him too but their is no plausible reason in keeping him if he keeps getting these serious injuries, might aswell bring a young player through

Doesnt Essien sleep like 14 hours a day or somthing ridiculous? How does he find time to get injured?!

Bruma played in that reserve game because he wasent going to be invlolved in the Sunderland game. Terry didnt pull out until the morning of the game.

I never said Cole, Belletti and Ballack were deadwood. I wanted to keep hold of them of atleast 2 of them but we wanted to lower our wage bill. Never have i said they were deadwood.

Joe Cole wanted too much wages which was far too much for the role he was playing in the team currently

Ballack was getting on and we had adequate cover in the CM position plus we can see that he had a really poor season in Germany so us letting him go was justified

Belleti was the same reason as Ballack

And you dont have the right to talk about Ref standards either, you would not be holding your 19th title

#CFC are planning a statement now. To be released around 5pm. There's been a potentially serious injury but still running tests.

Doesn't sound good for Essien.

******* ****! this definetly means we need to bring in cover for our CM postion. Josh may not be able to cut it week in and out just yet

I'm sure you said in the begining of the last season when you said you did well to get rid of dead wood..

Not at all, we needed to keep hold of atleast one of them. All 3 of them were still good enough to play for us.

we needed 2 get rid of them, our squad was slowely ageing and these players were cutting off opportunites for the youngsters to get some first-team experience, unfortunately our Youth Players were not able to cut it so now we are forming the core of our team around experience heads such as Lamps, Terry and Torres while playing quality Youths who are good enough to cut the mustard in the PLM such as Ramires, Luiz and Sturridge around them while also bringing in 2-3 quality players

Im massivly confident, we are out the league cup and basicly qualified for the next round of the champions league already. We are resting players like Drogba and letting players take a little longer to come back from injury i.e Lampard. I don't see where people say we have a small squad, all we have done it got rid of some of the old players all on 50k a week plus and letting the youngsters be the back-up players insted and so far i see no reason not to trust them. I think Utd are lacking a playmaker and its laughable that they signed this Bebe lad for near on the same price Spurs bought VDV for. Arsenal always seem to slip away and lose against Chelsea and Utd but i do expect them to finish 2nd this season especially if and this is a big if they get Van Persie back fit. City will win alot of games this year but it seems already unrest if creaping in with what Santa Cruz has said so i think they will finish 4th with Utd in 3rd.

I'm sure there was few more posts, just can't dig it now. And also there was a thread where many predicted without signings we will finish below Arsenal and Chelsea are dead certain to win the league. Thinking of bumping it, but didn't..

Hmm, hopefully...Lampard, Ramires, Pastore :D... In fact Mikel instead of Ramires and then a bit of rotation with Ramires, Mikel, McEachran and Lamps.

If this is confirmed then its the third time he is missing big chunk of the season. His future at Chelsea is not looking good..

I think you should start a petition for Utd to sign him at 20m.

CFC Statement: "Todays test results show that Essien has torn his bicep trying to lift his massive wallet and he may be out for aound 5 months."

Meanwhile papers have claimed John Terry was seen visiting Essiens house to see how he was. Apparntly he didn't know Michael was having tests though. Luckily for him, Essiens wife was home and invited him in for a cup of tea for a few hours.......
