Honestly if you ignore the emotional aspect of Lampard scoring against us, a point at the Etihad is a great result considering the way we were outplayed throughout the game. Still got a healthy 5 point lead over City. Lots of work to do though!

A) The referee cost us the game with several terrible decisions.

B) Are you seriously trying to tell me you didn't find that the slightest bit funny/ironic that Lampard had to be the one to come on and score?

No one can share a light joke anymore without starting to ***** about other teams. Grow up please.

When you lose 5-3 to Leicester with a defence that's trying it's hardest to replicate tissue paper, it's not the ref's fault you lost.

As an aside, coming into a thread and just commenting 'LOOOOOOOOL' is not a light joke, it's shitposting and will be dealt with as such.

B) It's ironic and we are good. We're not crying. I love Lamps as much as anyone on here. He is a professional and if he has an opportunity to score HE MUST and HE WILL.

And "LOOOOOOOOOOL-ing" is not a joke.

How do I have a meltdown? Stop posting about that when the only time I done that is when Moyes was in charge, with justified reason as well.

Well if it's any consolation, Lampard looked genuinely upset after scoring. Still a true legend in my eyes
 
Weird game really. Started with a team blitzing us for 20 mins, only this time we didn't concede. Definite improvement there but then we didn't have any edge.

It's a bit of a catch 22: you need the workrate of Willian and Ramires but playing on the counter vs a top team means you also need clinical passing and great first touch, which they don't always offer.

Hopefully we'll find the right balance soon, but I'll definitely take a draw at the Etihad in a game where we largely stifled City.
 
Honestly City were all over us in the first half. We shouldn't even be leaving with a point. A draw is a fine result. I just hope Mourinho sorts out our defensive issues. Plus FFS Drogba needs to get his head in the game ... He has been utterly ****

It's not an insult either, Lol = Laugh Out Loud... which many people would of done when Lampard scored.
 
Today was also a perfect example of how wrong the media and other fans seem to have got Costa: he doesn't get sent off, he gets you sent off.
 
Can someone get rid of this nutcase already? If Chelsea got owned by a promoted side, I wouldn't go laughing at another team for taking a point at the toughest stadium in the league
