Suprised knowone has bought this to light but FA Youth cup holders Chelsea drew Manchester United in the Semi Finals which is played over 2 legs. The first leg was on Sunday at a packed Stamford Bridge and it was a sensational game, here are the hi-lights for all to see and i advise everyone to watch.

I watched the full 90minutes and although Chelsea dominated in the 1st half and could have been 3,4-0 up (just a shame Milan Lalkovic cant finish) Man Utd fully deserved their 2 goals in the 2nd half. 2nd leg should be intresting but i will add away goals do not count in this competition.

Second leg we are leading 4-0 with Keane Hattrick..

I saw some of the first half and we were poor. Looked like Rabbit caught in headlights, we missed Cliffords presence in the middle, he is massive for our youth team.

This is a must watch, after the 3-0 win against West Ham Torres and Lampard are being interviewed by Chelsea TV and trying to act all professional. But David Luiz has other ideas and keeps trying to put them off. You can just imagine the morale in the dressing room Luiz brings and i can see him becomming a great name in football.

Being Sideshow Bob's twin he'd be doing it wrong if he wasn't funny.

Lol looks like a great lad, lololol c'mon chelsea :D but the funniest part was 0:51-0:54 :D

haha, fair play to Lampard and Nando for trying to keep it professional. He is exacly the type of player you need at football clubs.

Have to say, being a Blue is never boring, but thats the way I like it.

The only formation that works is a 4-3-3. All this talk of an xmas tree should be cast aside. Drogba could play wide right or left, he does it alot in game, so thats a possibility.

The only way Chelsea will change, is if they sign a few key players for a new formation!!!

Being a Blue nearly gives me a heart-attack lol. I have already said to my fiancee that thats the way im going to die.

I also have to agree with your point that Drogba can play wide right or left, he does it in most games and has done it more and more recently. He made Evra look like an amatuer in the CL 2nd leg coming out wide right and he put a through ball to Malouda (which Lampard finished off) away at West Brom from left back and the Lampard goal on Saturday was made from a through ball from left back from Drogba. At the moment i would play a front 3 of Drogba, Torres and Malouda.

I would disagree, personally. Not necessarily the ONLY formation.

I can see Sturridge playing a deep role next season (if the manager keeps him). Not only can he score goals but he has the ability to unlock defences with splitting passes.

I can see Sturridge being a long term replacement for Lampard over the next 5 or so years. Has the same goal scoring ability, great passing ability and if he works on his defence I believe he can be a great midfielder.

With deep role you mean centrally?

I can see him being played as RW/RF in a 4-3-3. He has all the tricks to play and succeed. But can he do it is for other day as playing for Bolton and Chelsea is very different.

IMO he has a bright future at Chelsea, he is bit selfish which i like as strikers needs to be selfish. They should have that hunger for goals. Liked his link up play a lot. England's future looking bright with the current crop of youngsters.

Ok now this is what Chelsea need to do in the summer.

Keep:
Ancelotti - Great manager but does have flaws. Needs to learn from them but we need to keep a manager for once
Drogba - Although he is getting on you just know he still has a few years left in him

Definatly Sell:
Malouda - One good season but that is it. Worst player in Chelsea's squad at the moment
Hilario - Just not needed on the wage bill
Zhirkov - Never really dont it
Anelka - Huge wages and dosent look intrested YET AGAIN
Bosingwa - Ok first season but injury looks to have finished him, im sure Boas would take him back to Porto

Maybe Sell:
Cole - Only if the offer is decent i.e 15mill+. Dont want to lose PVA because lack of first team appearences and Cole is getting on
Drogba - If the offer is right and Anelka stays
Alex - Only if the offer is decent i.e 8mill+ and Bruma stays at the club for back-up

Sign:
Neymar - Play him on the left with a floating free role, he would be devastating

Bring Through:
Van Aanholt - proving it again in the Championship
Kakuta - Maybe, just maybe he will excell this time round
McEachran - Deserves more minutes
Sturridge - Deserves more STARTS

So - basically: You want Chelsea to do what Arsenal did about 8 years ago and start bringing through young players as part of a long-term plan?

Who's going to be your 1st and 2nd LB if you sell Cashley Hole and Zhirkov? And who's going to play LW? You want Chelsea to sell Malouda AND Zhirkov... And replace them with Neymar who isn't naturally a LWer and would have to a) prove he can do it in the PL b) improve his attitude and c) never get injured or suspended because you'd have no cover.

You criticise Arsenal and say we need 5 new signings, how many signings are you going to need to make to keep your success in the short-term (which I maintain will be short-lived) if you get rid of those players?

There would be a vast gap in quality and age/experience between your top players - Lampard & co. and the second string - McEachran (excellent prospect but is by no means anywhere near ready for the PL)

CJACKO I was wondering if you see QPR as Chelsea's rivals as on other forums they have said they don't care about QPR and that Man U, Arsenal etc. are their rivals, this leads me to believe that they are 'new' fans who joined after you got money and think that they have always been their rivals but I think really that those big teams aren't really rivals, they're rivals in the sense of you want to beat them because they're near you in the league but surely with QPR, Fulham and maybe Brentford, they are your traditional rivals, just in recent years there has been a bit of a gap between QPR and Chelsea, for QPR fans, Chelsea our the main rivals as they are the closest club to us and this used to be the same with Chelsea fans until the last few years when they got taken over.

P.S Remember when we beat you 6-0 :D

Like people keep saying we need to reduce our wage bill again. I would say get rid of one of Malouda or Zhirkiov, there is an argument for both of them to stay and go so it wouldnt bother me which one. And the rest of players i said definatly sell i.e Hilario, Anelka and Bosingwa would not be missed that much surely? Sturridge would be the natural replacement for Anelka, Delac or Taylor will replace Hilario as 3rd choice keeper and we have both Van Aanholt and Bruma who will come in and replace Bosingwa. We will lose a centre back because Ivanovic will go to right back (or we will sign a right back, Van Der Wiel is a strong link). This for me will be Chelsea's side next season if it was down to me (without any signings).

Manager: Carlo Ancelotti
GK': Cech, Turnbull, Delac/Taylor
DR: Ivanovic, Ferreira. (Luiz and Bruma can both also play right back)
DL: Cole, Van Aanholt. (Luiz and Ferreira can both also play left back and Zhirkov if he is the one we keep)
DC: Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic, Bruma, Alex
MC: Lampard, Essien, Ramires, Mikel, McEachran, Benayoun, Kakuta. (One of Zhirkov and Malouda could also drop into midfield)
FW: Drogba, Torres, Kalou, Sturridge. (One of Zhirkov and Malouda)

Now that looks like a decent side to me and there is a good chance Chelsea may buy someone in the summer also.

I would keep Zhirkov cos he's more versatile
