Not really ... He does have a tendency to go missing for a few weeks and still lacks the killer instinct. Next season we might see a player who turns it on week in and week out
 
Chelsea have played really ****** football recently but one man enjoys every second on the pitch.
 
I've been working away for a while so my presence on these groups has been limited the past month or so but fortunately i'm at home for the Easter holidays so i got to sit down and watch the game in my arm chair!


This morning i said the game would be a very scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 win for us and to be honest i'd take 8 more scrappy wins this season even if my ticker might not!


First of all lets get my view on the Adam goal out there, i think in this day and age it would be alien for a keeper to be standing on his line with the opposition so far in their half. That along with our centre back who are quite slow we need a keeper to be off his line to mop up any through balls. In my eyes its just a sensational strike (by an absolute **** of a footballer) which we just have to applaud.


Very annoyed with Costa's injury which i'm guessing will keep him out for 3 weeks minimum but his replacement in Loic Remy has now won us 4 points in the last 2 matches! We have been without Costa a couple of times this season and i believe we are unbeaten without him so its not all doom and gloom, and with QPR being our next game wouldn't it be nice seeing Remy net one or three there......


One player who deserves all the praise possible is the obvious Eden Hazard! This man is just mesmerising but at most times indescribable! He is by far our best player in general, our best player this season and the best player in the Premier League. WHEN we crawl over the line to win this title it will be because he will carry us i have no doubt about that. He is someone we will tell our Chelsea supporting children and grandchildren we had the privilege of watching in blue!


I'll leave you all with a quote from Jose Mourinho which has just come in. Mourinho: "Yesterday, I sent an SMS to Karanka (Middlesbrough manager). I told him 1-0 in April is like 10-0 in September."


And how right he is!

Is Diego Costa injured after last match ? Hazard was incredible Remy scored a pretty goal,but Adam had a great night :)

Love this part. He is a diamond. Last player to have made me drool like that was Mata.
 
Best goal Ive ever seen live from Adam. Also the second I've seen in the last year live from the half way line the other being when I went to West Ham v utd as my pal had a spare ticket and Rooney did it. Absolutely gutted for Costa looks as if his season could be finished.
 
Almost forgot to mention I met Izzy Brown today! Was sat on a table next to his in nandos before the game but didn't want to disturb him whilst he was eating then managed to spot him outside the ground after the game and asked for a photo and he was a really nice lad.
 
What does Cuadrado actually do?...

He doesn't dribble...he's too weak...i don't think he's won a tackle or intercepted...

Give him time. He wasn't exactly playing great at Fiorentina either this year. World Cup hangover maybe, but he's a wonderful player.

We don't have much of a habit giving our fourth/fith attacking midfielders time. Marin, Moses, Schurrle, Salah...

You Chelsea fans are gonna be very frustrated with Cuadrado. Yes had a pretty good world cup but for the last 2 seasons now he has been very up and down and will always leave you frustrated. Can see him being shipped out in a season or 2. Was trying to say this on the Utd thread everyone crying why we were not in for him.

Granted I'd only seen him about 2 times before we signed him, but whenever I did he always reminded me of Gervinho v2 (at Arsenal).

If there's one thing that annoys me the most it's players who can't do the basics well. I thought Oscar was bad in possession but Cuadrado so far is even worse. Not sure if it's confidence thing or he's just a very hit & miss sort of player.

Hes always gonna be a hit and miss type player more miss tbh.
 
Talk about jumping the gun ... Its only been a few weeks since he came to England. At least give Cuadrado 6 months before passing judgement on him. Worst still, he came mid-season and didn't even have preseason with the team
 
Cuadrado is a very good player and sort of player liked by most managers because he is very versatile. Excellent wingback, very good dribbler and a decent goal threat too. His work rate is immense, just that he is still adapting to the league and hardly got any mins to showcase his talent.

Physically he is not strong which can be improved easily, looks like Cuadrado is signed for next season wherein he can adapt to the league slowly like we did with Vidic and Evra.
