Diego Costa and Eden Hazard have both been nominated for PFA player of the year. Fully deserved.

ON THIS DAY: In 2009, Thibaut Courtois made his professional debut. 262 games, 118 clean sheets, 6 trophies.

Tbf Fabregas was pretty bad second half of this campaign.

He really hasn't though. All because his assists haven't been as consistent people assume he Has been terrible. Average imo since Xmas not terrible but his performances have started to improve slightly last few games.

ARSENAL NEXT

COME ON BOYS

COOOOME OOOON

The past month i have hardly been on the internet and even missed most games and i hate it obviously. But one aspect i didn't miss is all the pre-match bollocks mainly on Twitter slating our starting 11 every game! The amount of abuse Drogba got before kick-off was embarrassing! One person said he never believed Remy was injured Jose just didn't want to play him. Another said this "i hope Drogba gets a groin injury within 30 minutes so Solanke can come on"!!!!! Seriously wishing not only one of our players but one of our hero's, legends and best players to ever play for this club an injury! The funniest thing about all the bullshit i see is that after that 90 minutes that person's comment looks absolutely ridiculous because that player puts in a good performance!

Now away from all the negative stuff what a massive victory that was! The most pleasing thing was that out of form players such as Fabregas, Matic and Oscar all put in good performances. The decision to put Zouma in midfield was an absolute masterstroke, Fellaini who has been Utd's main threat lately was anonymous. I felt Drogba was very sloppy early on but towards the end of the game used his experience winning free-kicks and slowing down the game time and time again.

On the goal it was vintage Chelsea wasn't it, winning the ball high up, playing a pass which cuts out multiple players and then finishing with our first chance on goal. When i think of this side i think of 1 word, ruthless! On Utd there is a massive improvement from their side no doubt, actually watching Shaw today made me annoyed we didn't sign him.

Big shout out to the home support who for the majority were excellent including their applause for Juan Mata. A huge win which leaves us 2 wins (if one of them wins is against Arsenal next week) from the title. I think its safe to say i will be rubbing noses with some of you lot at a double winning open bus top parade come next month!

I'll leave with an excellent comment by an Man Utd supporter i just saw on a blogging site. "Well thats the Mourinho tactics. Letting us have the ball but its really Chelsea who are "controlling" the match. Chelski tactics working well: Fellaini negated and making it difficult for us to wing it by forcing us go through the middle".

UTC!!!

Hm... I'm seeing that for a 2nd time... Hm.... Interesting.

Also, I agree Drogba was superb today. Helped us enormously.

102 - This was the 102nd Premier League clean sheet that Chelsea have kept under Jose Mourinho (in 190 games). Solid.

Some stats for you.

Can we just take a moment to recognise that Dave cost us £7m. Easily the best fullback in the league, only 25 and he cost us 2m less than Victor Moses.

In my opinion he's the best defensive fullback around, not much gets past him. First season he was pretty poor but now he rarely disappoints, Dave is the definition of consistent.
