Oscar will get the whole summer off which will be his first since joining us so i can only see him improving on his consistency next season. The thing is we were by far the best side this season so not only does everyone need to try and catch this years Chelsea we will also improve so you are trying to play major catch up.

I look at it a totally different way, for me Falcao is a penalty box striker who needs service around the 12 yards in-wards and with Utd he struggled to get that or even a run of matches. If he comes to us he will be working with the best medical department in the sports industry and getting the service he needs. Lets not forget we have Costa who managed 20 goals despite missing a large chunk of last season, Remy who seems to score every time he plays so we can take a punt on Falcao and i'd be delighted if we did.
That's huge claim about the best medical department in the Sports industry !!!!!

Arsenal and United are much closer to Chelsea and City than Liverpool and Spurs are. This isnt even a United view, this is a widely held view in and outside the game.

That doesnt mean both sides dont have a lot of work to do, they both need 3 signings. But actually its Chelsea, then any one of City, Arsenal United, then Spurs Liverpool.

Yep Chelsea faves for me. But after that its any 3 of us Arsenal,City. Expecting to see much tighter league next season. Chelsea best sports medical department in the world should give them the edge though :P

The problem with an ambiguous message board ..... things innocently get lost in translation.

Whether you view United as being that much further along than Liverpool and 'Spurs or not, the reality is all three are nowhere near seriously challenging for the title as we currently stand.

So when I said Utd are as far away as Liverpool and 'Spurs, I meant in the reality of the above.

Being closer and still coming nowhere near still finishes in the same end result.

Impossible to say if they are the best, but they are excellent in that department.

I see the bookies have now made us odds-on favourites to sign Griezmann this summer. Some bloke from Betfair said something about it seeming as though we've met his £43.5m release clause and apparently it's just down to Griezmann now. I hope we pull this deal off, he'd be a brilliant signing for us.

Some rumours Diego Costa is unhappy living in london and wants a move back to atletico. Got to be bollocks surely.

Yeah the Marca journalist who wrote the article must've been smoking crack. If he was unhappy in London I'm sure we would've heard something about it much sooner and whenever I see him he's always smiling and appears happy, the guys basically a club legend already.

Yeah exactly to me it has looked like he has loved the club since the day he signed. Can't see Diego moving on any time soon.

I know that everyone is hyped about RLC but honestly Solanke is looking more and more like the real deal. Great movement, crisp passing and he seemed to have a real understanding of how the team was playing. Would love to see him training with the first team and getting a run in the cup next season.

Agreed. As I mentioned in a previous post I'd much rather see us give Solanke a chance next season rather than Bamford, the only thing he needs to really improve on is bringing others into the game. Jose was very critical of RLC in his post-match interview today.

Diego has pretty much rubbished the rumours he is unhappy in England on chelsea tv

I'm not Jose's biggest fan but I have to take my hat off to him for this quote regarding Loftus-Cheek.

‘So, with Ruben, it’s one step back in terms of my relationship with him. If he doesn’t know what it is to play for me and Chelsea it’s one step back.

‘He has to learn that at 19 you have to run three times more than the others, you have to play to your limits and not play like a superstar with the ball at your feet because this is not Under-18s.

‘The Under-18 competition is too easy for him. He’s too good to play in the Under-18s but I don’t accept that when he’s playing in midfield with Mikel and Matic when we don’t have the ball he doesn’t press, doesn’t have intensity and he’s waiting for everybody else to recover the ball.

"I don’t accept that in the superstars so how can I accept that in a kid? He has to learn what it takes to play for us.’

You can see it from the Moon, that is is meant to show RLC that he has high expectations of him. If he's smart, he will take the criticism, and build on it.
Kids these days need to be criticized more when it's due, and hyped up less in general.

100% correct what jose is saying. Wouldn't surprise me if making a couple of starts for the first team has gone to Rubens head a little bit. He will need to work hard and not get lazy and think he is some superstar or he will end up another Josh McEachran.
