I know that everyone is hyped about RLC but honestly Solanke is looking more and more like the real deal. Great movement, crisp passing and he seemed to have a real understanding of how the team was playing. Would love to see him training with the first team and getting a run in the cup next season.

I actually felt Solanke was absolutely lightyears away from the first team watching him today. Loftus-Cheek not much better but i felt all the young lads dissippointed today which is a massive shame with exception of Ake.

I don't necessarily feel he's good enough for the first team, but he would benefit immensely from it. He's too dominant at the level he's been playing at, he needs a better class of opposition to really develop.

He's rough around the edges but I've been really impressed by his potential and how quickly he's adapted to playing with the squad. Blood him this year and he might be good enough to be a rotation option by next year.

I think a loan would be the most likely option for him, think he has outgrown the academy levels now

A general point as to the above conversation .....

I've never understood why, when we now have 7 subs in England, you can't find a place for at least one youngster from your crop that you've identified as having the best chance to progress through. The odd cup game here and there, often followed by weeks or months of nothing, is no good at all to a kids progress.

If there's one you really have hopes for, get them involved week-on-week on the bench and introduce them more and more as you go.

To be fair we have been doing that with Loftus-Cheek

It was more a general point to any club, but there's a prime example. It was only late on in the year he started being really involved right? Well if Chelsea do rate him, he needs to stay that way going forward. Little spells here and there aren't much good to anyone.

As you mentioned, maybe you loan him. But if you don't, and you rate him, he needs to be involved regularly going forward.

Or move on to the next youngster you think has something special to stick.

I think Loftus-Cheek will stay as part of the first team squad next season (that's if he doesn't sulk and actually takes Jose's comments on board) but i don't see a place for Solanke just yet its too soon.

I wouldn't be opposed to this. I think he can be a really good player and he fits in well with us but, like I said in January, I think we should be investing in serious youth talent or world class players at this point.

What are your thoughts on Griezzman?

Griezmann...

"I'm good at Atletico. I've just arrived and I'm not a player who moves the first year. I still need to learn and know that I can do it here and get very far with Atletico."

What a shame. However it looks as though the Falcao deal is almost sorted, I've seen reports that the fee is anywhere from £18m to £25m.

i have this funny feeling about falcao that next season he will start banging them in for fun for you lot

Mourinho "Griezmann is a great striker but is not within our objectives to strengthen the squad for next season. We're not interested."

You're wasting your time all of you btw. Don't expect Mourinho to tell the truth about transfers. Not sure where the Falcao news are coming from either.

From what I've seen the deal is about 95% done, we just need to sort out the little details. As I mentioned earlier the fee is rumoured to be around £18m-£25m and I heard one report quoting wages at £100k p/w. Also it seems as though we want to wrap up the deal before the Copa America starts, but we'll potentially wait until after the tournament to announce it.

We just showed how not to use him. He will score goals for Chelsea no dout!

I'll take a friendly wager on that, that he won't do much more than what he did at Utd.

The injury has taken it's toll and he was nevert suited to the Premier League to start with IMHO.
