What do you mean by "dynamic" and yes it will be his release clause that's all Porto want otherwise they're not selling and sorry for translation... not my fault its what google gave me.

It doesn't matter about what I meant, forget it.

And re the clause, Chelsea wont go that high I assure you.

Players pushing the move, agents been in London for a week brokering a deal and the final outcome if he comes will be a deal in the region of 24-25m euros not 30m.

And Porto have his replacement in Alex Sandro, his days are numbered at Porto. Burned his bridges with the club completely, different to the Moutinho deal. Pereira is pushing very hard for the move, even refusing to go to training, and Porto know his clause is overpriced.

Just wait and see.

Same reason Chelsea were in for Coentrao.

Plays LB/LM/LW, fills the Zhirkov role (The guy Chelsea sold).

Behind Cole there is currently no one except Ferreira, PVA/Bertrand heading out on loan, so just for cover alone it makes sense.

Also gives the option of playing him LW, Mata RW. Also can play LM in a 4-4-2 or diamond...

Just general versatility/quality/trust of AVB is the reason why Chelsea are signing him.

And let's face facts Cole is hardly a spring chicken, 2-3 years down the line what if Bertrand isn't ready or PVA isn't good enough?

Simple answer- He is needed, I think he's a good signing and I think his pace/energy will re energise the left hand side.

i mean.. a cover for 25 mil? really? okay hes good but a benchwarmer for 25 mil? dontthink so. and hardly see Mata play regularly on the right. but we will see.

we need more a creative midf. than a left sided player.

And De Bruyne is irrelevant, he's injured at the minute (Recovering well) and even if a deal was brokered this summer he would stay at Genk on loan. Chelsea have first option, Genk know Chelsea have the funds...

He's a case of Chelsea can buy him whenever. Not the priority right now, I think Pereira (Or another LW/LB...Can't rule out a Bastos swoop by Roman) and a top drawer CM.

Not looking like it's Moutinho but I'm sure someone will come in.

Coentrao showed the intent to replace Zhirkov in my opinion.

Coentrao bid wasn't too far short of 24m euros, and Pereira is hardly 'old'. So from that point you can see the sense in it...

Ashley Cole can not play 50+ games a season anymore and that is what he would have to do if no cover/versatile left sided player was brought in.

I can see Pereira playing in 20+ games to be honest, and coming off the bench a few times.

see again.

We're all entitled to our own opinions don't have to have a go at me for everything I say.

Now now, you are both on the same side. Chelsea needs Modric, and Levy wont sell him for sure. You guys should look somewhere else ( Hamsik maybe ?)

Personally I'd prefer Hamsik, but a bid doesn't look likely,if Chelsea are gonna sign a creative midfielder modric looks most likely and Levy will give up if Chelsea bid 40m.

I also would prefer Modric at Chelsea. Hamsik is more creative, and Modric adds something else. He's a workhouse.

Haven't had a chance to put out there info on Davila, he was voted the best player of the qualifiers for the U-20 CONCECAF Gold Cup. (Ahead of Joel Campbell)

Expected to get a senior team call up within 2 years.

Him+Piazon going forward as the creative force in Chelsea's midfield looks like a sensational pairing.

On sky sports app on iPad it says Stoke are reportedly in talks with Chelsea to sign Lukaku on loan until January. Tbh I wouldn't be too disappointed to see him go out on loan for half a season as he will get a lot more first team action at Stoke thenChelsea IMO and I believe Romelu will suit Stokes football.

I thought Lukaku said before he signed that if he did sign he had no intention of going out on loan?

Yeah the Lukaku situation is a strange one.

He arrived with the ambition to breakthrough etc but clearly the difference between dreaming what it's like at Chelsea and being there is different.

I think he knew his chance would come when Drogba goes away for the ACON and the loan move has clearly been discussed.

He's not stupid he can see the sense in a 6 month loan to get some games/goals under his belt in the Premier League at Stoke then come back to Chelsea in January and hopefully play out the season as a top order striker for Chelsea. (Ahead of Drogba)

This rules out Lukaku to Stoke, no?

Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in offi cial matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally, the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected

Regardless of what I posted above I would be happy to see Lukaku get PL games on loan until January, but Stoke definitely wouldn't be my first choice.

SS now confirming that he'd be ineligible.

In fact there's 2 rules that rule out a loan move; the one I posted about and:

@skysports_bryanBryan Swanson

PL have pointed out Rule M.7.1 which says a player can't go out on loan to another PL club in same window. #stoke #lukaku #cfc.

We'll just have to wait untill January to loan him out then.
Preferably somewhere like Bolton IMO.
