this ****** **** Kalou,....... MAAAAAN I WANT HIM OUT! FFS WHAT WAS HE THINKING!

What a **** that ref was. Biased towards Valencia imo and didnt even let us take our freekick at the end.

credit to their goalie though.. if it wasnt for him we would have scored 5+

Why do you hate him this much? You need to remember some of the vital goals he has scored for us and some of his great performances. Torres has only scored 3 times in over 20 appearances, missed an open goal against utd and got sent off against Swansea and say if Fernando was the one who handballed it in the box tonight would you want him out of the club??? (btw I am not criticising Fernando he is one of my favourite players)

I'm a Wolves fan if you didn't know - and we get our fair share of **** refs. Bit this guy was something special - he's was atrocious. That free-kick should have been allowed to be taken at the end - if someone fouled someone in rugby, the ref wouldn't blow-up, he'd let them have the free-kick/penalty. Not giving the free-kick effectively means here, that the game was ended because a Valencia player deliberately fouled a Chelsea player in an attempt to not concede a goal

However, a draw was a fair result - both keepers were top class today.

Arsenal the only British team to win in Europe this week - who'd have thought it :O

probably not, but hey Torres was in poor form, he is becoming the old Torres we've known, and yet to prove himself at Chelsea. Kalou is here for years, and hes done more negatives to us than positives.. hes been always like that. I dont like him, period.
Everybody has an opinion, this is mine. cheers.

No player can be perfect and as you say Torres was in poor form as Kalou has been recently. He really isnt as bad as soom people think I dont think he is a class player because he isnst he is far from that but he is a good squad player to have and he gets a good amount of goals a season considering how much he is on the subs bench.

i dont understand the sub though, why on earth would AVB send him in instead of Drogba.. i dont get it.

You are actually criticising Torres, even if you don't mean to :P But well, Kalou hasn't been to good. I don't like him and tonight didn't improve my relationsship to him.

Overall I would say that is was a good result for Chelsea, even though they could have scored on their huge chances. I would have let Torres play, he looked like he was getting warmed up. Chelsea didn't look motivated at all, I was very disappointed to see them play. I hope it will improve, because most of Chelseas matches under AVB really haven't got me that excited. :/

I agree with you the sub was abit silly I would of put Drog on instead. We basically had 4 wingers on the pitch in Mata, Malouda, Anelka and Kalou.

It does look like I am but what I done was list the negatives about Torres in a Chelsea shirt. It annoys me if players like Torres are off form and playing poorly they dont get stick off Chelsea fans but if a player like Kalou is off form the fans say stuff like they want the player out of the club etc etc.

WHAT?! Did you watch the second half? First half he wasn't great, but he was letting challenges and the laser get to him. Obviously second half AVB had a word with him and told him not to let the challenges and laser get to him.

As for Kalou - he has DEFINITELY not done more negatives than positives. If it was ANY other player would you be bashing them? I doubt it. And how about Ramires' poor, poor finish hitting it straight at Diego Alves? How about we all have a go at him for a terrible miss, same goes for his miss against United. But, no let's all get on Kalou's back because it's always his fault.

You should back all of Chelsea's players IMO, whether good, or bad. Saying he's not good enough or it's time he left I can understand (although I'd probably disagree) or at least saying what he's done wrong and giving a fair assessment instead of slagging him off. There's been players I've said should go and it's their 'time' but I still get behind them, and if I do criticise them after a game it's always a fair assessment and I would never abuse them.

Never understood the over criticism of Torres, not had the best time for a while, but I'd have him at united, especially since we play the tempo and service he craves

You knew he would be in for alot of criticism the moment he was signed for £50 million. Any little mistake, missed chance etc is jumped on by the media and yet the 2 goals and 2 assists he got in the last two weeks have been hardly mentioned by the media.

i wouldnt argue with you as you are the biggest fan of his :) cheers bud and dont be mad about it , i just expressed my own opinion , whats wrong with that after all?

Kalou is terrible.

You can defend him or say what you want, he's terrible.

We knew he was terrible before tonight and he's just as terrible if not worse after tonight.

Hilario would be more use on the right wing than Kalou, none of this 'hes been great for Chelsea'. A lot of players would do a lot better for Chelsea than he has done. I understand why the club keep him, I just don't understand why AVB plays him. I don't understand why the other 3 recent managers have played him as a matter of fact.

I knew AVB would shift to a 4-2-3-1 to attempt to get a second and keep a balance, the problem I have is why not take off Lampard for Drogba and then play Anelka wide right because Valencia's left hand side was the constant attack point all game because of Valencia's left flank having attacking minded players. That left space in behind which Malouda couldn't quite exploit because, well, he lacks pace. To rely on Kalou to run in behind is bizarre.

I doubt the outcome would have been a draw had Drogba been on for Lampard and Anelka wide right.

I'll tell you before you try and post some stats/minutes-goals ratio/whatever else to defend Kalou, it wont change my mind...He'll never change my mind, he's awful.

I'm the guy that somehow found a defence for Bendtner, at least he has some sort of class. Bendtner's not top class but he's a good player, I can't say the same about 26 year old Kalou. Let's face facts, for a guy who is supposed to be in his prime he's pretty awful. He wouldn't even get on the bench of 90% of the top 15 European teams.

What?! He's NOWHERE NEAR being one of my favourite players, but I get behind ALL Chelsea players.

Expressing your opinion is fine, if it is a fair assessment and not abusing him. I don't find this (quote below) either of them:

agreed. but i was quite ****** off right after he made the penalty..

Drogba said before the game he still dosen't feel completely right and it would have been a risk if we bought him on. Saying that i would have rather we bought on Brana or even Oriol.

My first say on the game from yesterday and at the start of the day i would have taken a draw but in the manner it happend i was dissapointed. If we were more clynical or their keeper wasen't on some sort of performance enhansing drugs (he must have been) then we would have smashed them. We have to remember this is a side who drew with Barcelona a couple of weeks ago and we out played and out major chanced them (new saying) so we have every right to be pleased. AVB's subs were abit puzzling but he will do things like this and we have to take this with good stuff too. We proberly should have had a penalty although it was strange Nando didnt appeal for it, i thought the ref was decent appart from that penalty decision and him not letting us take the free-kick in the last minute. The way im looking at it is that was the toughest game on paper in our group and we didnt lose, great point in my mind. UTC!!!
