Ballague has said that Torres is shocked Chelsea isn't a community based club and a family club.

Surprised with that (if true). Chelsea is known to be a family club, what does Torres expect? All the Chelsea players to go into his room and tuck him in at night?!

thought i would post this here as it relates to chelsea a wee bit, one of thier ex players retires

Former Chelsea and Birmingham winger Jesper Gronkjaer has announced his retirement from football at the age of 33.
Gronkjaer will quit the game after FC Copenhagen's final match of the season on Sunday against Aalborg.
The former Danish international, who joined Copenhagen in 2006, said he was retiring for health reasons.

ahh good old Gronkjaer  I liked him alot when he was at Chelsea and I will never forget his goal against Liverpool that secured Chelsea's place in the champions league :).

I would think Chelsea is hugely a family based club and its one of our strenghts. Ok i know your not saying this but its a false statement without a dout.

ahahahahhaHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

THE BIGGEST BULL IVE HEARD IN A WHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHELSEA IS THE LARGEST FAMILY IN ENGLISH FOOTBALL! IN EVERY SINGLE WAY! Where are you getting this **** from ?! OMG.
Your embarrassing.

Hope those words have been twisted, dont want him being unhappy already

I have to say, Chelsea, to me never seemed like a 'community' club, but I have little to base that on (other than Ballague's comment)

Good old Jepser, the man who could out pace any full back but then **** up the cross. And the only man that had a better chance from scoring when he aimed to cross. Will always be remembered for that goal in 2003, oh what a day that was!!

The **** is wrong with you? I'm getting this '****' from Guillem Ballague, you know, the man who's right 95% of the time.
Who are you to say Chelsea's the largest family in English football when it's clearly not, you're just a fan, and what seems a pretty stupid one at the moment, you have no idea.

OF COURSE I AM A FAN, AND THE BIGGEST ONE!
2nd - Only a true blue fan can see what a great family we are. Who THE **** IS GAY-LLEM balla...?????
TORRES IS GOING TO FIND BIGGER FAMILY HERE AT THE BRIDGE, THAN ANYWHERE ELSE. AND IF TORRES ACTUALLY HAS SAID THAT, AND HE IS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THE RECEPTION THE WHOLE TEAM GAVE HIM, LIKE A FAMILY MEMBER, THEN HE HAS NO FREAKIN PLACE IN THIS CLUB!

What do you mean when you say "community club"? Going to schools and hospitals? Charity do's? Free tickets to local schools? improve the area around the ground??

And like BlueHeart said if we wearnt a family then we wouldnt have sung the mans name constantly even when he wasent scoring or at times not playing well.

TAKE YOUR FINGER OFF THE CAPS LOCK IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A SPAZTARD.
You really are embarrassing to your club, 'of course I am a fan, and the biggest one' ¬_¬'
Also, not cool to call Guillem gay Guillem's spot on with his Spanish sources.

Stop with the capitals, you only look foolish.

1) Guillem Ballague is one of most respected spanish ITK/commentators out there, again making a joke f his name isn't smart, just makes you look stupid

2) Chelsea isnt as community as other clubs out there, certainly not on the level of spanish clubs, or even liverpool.

3) Calm down, you do yourself and other chelsea fans no favours

I think the point here is that Liverpool are probably the biggest "family club" in Britain. I doubt it's too much of a criticism of Chelsea to say theirs doesn't match up, but Torres probably isn't used to it. Of course, it would help if he could kick a ball into a net.

this is the key point here, they are a family club, but compared to his former two clubs they fall down some way

Even Ivanovic's son tried to show him how to do it after the Newcastle game :p

But the point is he should be more careful with what he says. The fans chanted his name every single game when he was playing poor and not scoring and when he did score the cheer was bigger than it was when we won the league without a dout. The man needs to be very careful if this is true seriously because i dont know many clubs supporters that are as loyal to their players as Chelsea FC and its not fair on us.

Why, hes merely said it as an observation, no need for the club to get defensive

Stefen Ivanovic.... Remember the name
