Hearing big rumblings that Mark Hughes is in talks to become manager of Chelsea, with a director of football to assist him.

Thoughts?

I think Mark Hughes could be good with hiddink as director of football. But I'd rather see hiddink, due to his experiance as a manager. I dont know if Hughes would be in over his head, I would hate for Chelsea to have to sack him, like man city did.

Why do you want Hughes as manager in the first place? He is unproven as manager... He did nothing at City therefore he got sacked.. And we know that he will get axed by Roman if he doesnt win either PL or CL , and I dont think he will win anything at all.. Cmon... Hughes is for average teams.. We need Hiddink.. Hopefully Turkey will lose tonight, as they will lose chances to qualify, and Hiddink get released and we appoint him.. The best scenario for us maybe..

well chelsea arent being forced to sell, they are choosing too so your anger is completely misplaced

He cant take our acadamy policy away, he set it up and it is there to be run like this for ever and its obviously working. He turned our scouting network from average to one of the best in the world. Looking at it on the whole both Mancienne and Sala arnt good enough to be in Chelsea's first team at the moment so both sellings are justified.

Frank Arnsen has raided Chelsea for the second time this week by signing Jacopo Sala. He signs a 3year deal with German side Hamburg. Seriously Arnesen thats enough!!!! ease up now!!!

He's really annoying me now, he's closing in on a 1 or 2 year loan deal for Bruma. What's the point in letting him join for 2 years?! We need a manager quick so that we don't lose anymore players to Hamburg. I'm pleased for Mancienne and Sala though, hopefully Mancienne will start games and maybe Sala getting the odd few.

The same old song..
So what were you sayin..? about how he 'created' the academy and everything? YEA, HE DID ALL THIS. BUT HE IS TAKING IT ALL BACK APPARENTLY :)
Еxcept for Bruma, I believe he will go for Josh too! This son of a *****.

I didn't say that? :S Even though he did 'create' the academy. And it's our fault if we let our players go, not Arnesen's, although I can't say I'm happy that he's after a load of our youngsters.

oops. doesnt matter, someone did say it.. anyway. my point is yes, its our decision to make whether to let them go or not, but his act is unethical.

Unethical how? He was a major part in bringing those talents in to the club in the first place. And it's not like Chelsea is FORCED to sell their talents to him, Frank Arnesen is no evil wizard.

Exactly, and the fact they are going so cheap tells you how chelsea value them, career wise they are clearly better off with him

Well we don't really know that. Likely to get more FT action sooner, but Chelsea did sort of have a youth policy for the first half of the season and had to abandon it. Remains to be seen what they do in the market this season - I hope McEachran stays because it's best for him to stick at it, and try to push for a place in the next couple of years.

MacEachran will be the exception becuase he is so talented, on a near-wilshere basis. But chelse tend to give less first team exposure than other top teams, those who have gone would have likely found it very difficult to break through, so careerwise, probably a better move, at least for now

Yeah.

Is McEachran as good as Wilshere is? I haven't seen much of him.. He needs a chance in the PL soon though.
