Last Saturday, Todd Kane and Nathaniel Chalobah had their hands on the CL trophy. Tonight, both have scored for England U19s. #CFC


Seems as if the experience of even taking them and involving them in the celebrations could really pay off.

Problem is that Chelsea have more or less screwed themselves with the managerial situation. I suspect Roman has always wanted to attract Pep but Pep is adamant on taking a break before returning. Rumours are that Roman will give RDM a one year contract before trying to get Pep again next season.

The thing is that if that scenario was to play out, this would be another wasted season for Chelsea in terms of transition and youth development considering RDM will just be a stop gap for Pep. We do not really have a season to fool around. The only way the situation can be redeemed now is to somehow snag Pep on a long-term contract or put full faith in RDM and give him a three-year contract

dont read goal.com or similar **** websites and dont believe everything you read. As for Hazard, we are still waiting for his final decision.

Roman looks set to award RDM with a one-year contract. Apparently Pep rejected Chelsea's advances and reiterated his decision to take a sabbatical.

Also this what I heard from some journalists I know. Apparently Roman is still unconvinced by Di Matteo's managerial abilities however since Pep is not willing to come and the alternatives are unconvincing, he is prepared to give RDM a chance although he is skeptical of awarding him a long-term contract in case RDM proves to be a failure.

Rebuilding process will continue this summer. RDM, Emeleano and Roman will work together to sell and bring in the necessary players.

Not the ideal situation obviously. I would have liked Roman to show more confidence in RDM and give him a three-year contract however the jury is still out on whether RDM can do well with a big club over a whole season. Particularly in the League.

Yeah unfortunately thats the case. Still cannot believe why we did not look at Unai Emery who is wasting his talents in Russia. I guess Chelsea fans just have to pray that RDM is someone who can take the club forward in the future

Out of them, I am thinking only one will come. There are no concrete links between us and Doumbia, not as strong as the ones between us and Hazard/Hulk

I actually think he is an extremely good player, very much suited to our league, physical, pace, one **** of a shot as well. He can do a lot for Chelsea, but the price needs to be right.

Your Right. Hulk is an incredible player but Porto will likely try to squeeze possible suitors for every penny... We should only go for him if the price is right. Same goes for Hazard although I think nothing can be done about that

Your right. Add the fact that we have a younger and similar player in Sturridge, I hope we do not pursue our interest in Hulk. Hazard on the other hand offers us an entirely different skill set compared to hulk, something we do not possess.

Why does it have to be 3 years? Give him a year, if he succeeds, then give him an extension.

It takes approx. 3 years to build a new team. We are not talking about a short term success here, we should build a new fresh team, and in order to do that we need to get rid of some players. We should build for the future. Long-term. 1 year is not enough.
