As of now, Ryan is the best person to replace Ashley. Never disappointed me when he was given a chance.
Couldn't agree more, 18months ago i said PVA was his successor but now it is 100% Ryan.

The only way i think this deal will seem to make sense is if we will play him in a deep lying play maker role and mould him into that type of player. Which if true is a huge gamble.
I just think, with all the players out there, its such a huge gamble at 25 million
That video does not show his passing range, which is key to a regista, without a good passing range you won't be an effective one.
The other clips I have seen does, it looks as if he will play deep but not stay deep.
Seems a huge gamble if Chelsea are intending to train him into a regista, which we are assuming they are as you have so many options going forward. Surely there are better alternatives for a similar/cheaper price who already have the ingredients to be a regista.
like??? Like i say he starts off very deep in attacks and ends up further forward, this could end up with Oscar, Torres, Hazard, Mata and Ramires all in the attacking third at the same time, scary stuff.
Adam Battams @LordSatNav @Fernando_Duarte so if you had to pick 1 to sign, Oscar or Lucas??
Fernando Duarte @Fernando_Duarte
@LordSatNav Oscar, anytime. More cerebral player.
mixed feelings about it, I'll wait for the start of the season to make any judgement on the player as I said, if we are to use him as AMC, its a gamble and (possibly) a waste of money.
Dutch player Strootman?
You mean if we play him as a centre mid not an AMC which is his usual position lol.
I totally messed it up. I meant, If we are to use him as a regista it will be a huge gamble, because of several known factors. If we are to use him as AMC, its a waste of money, as we dont need any more AMC's. Mata, and Hazard there.
