Reports in Belgium today reckon Villas-Boas is not keen on bringing Lukaku to Chelsea :(

Yeah I've heard that too. But I think Roman wants him, so could still happen. And only a few days ago they were saying he was very close to signing and at that point AVB had already agreed terms.

look if AVB does not want Lukaku, neither do I


Its time we gave this fella a free hand at transfers, he is not going to bring anyone useless at this club and he has a past experience as a scout so he should do well

See.. Thats what Im talkin about.. Roman wants him, so why shouldnt he sign him ffs? This is the biggest problem my friend, right here. Its always about what Roman wants, its never about what the manager wants. How are we supposed to develop ?
We have a manager, and NOW ITS ALL ABOUT HIM, HIS VIEWS, HIS PERSONAL WISHES. WHO CARES WHAT ROMAN WANTS FFS?
P.S. I like Lukaku . dont get me freakin wrong.

In most cases I definitely just want AVB deciding the transfers. But in this case, no. I hope Roman goes and gets him; he's perfect for our club. But the media that are saying AVB doesn't want him don't actually know that, so hopefully he does want Lukaku and buys him.

look mate, the worst thing u can do as a owner is to buy a player ur manager does not want, unfortunately good ole Roman has done that many a times and it has never benefited us in any way

I just think we should trust AVB to do what he has gotta do, he surely recognises that we have to replace half our squad in the coming 48 months, he will surely work around it and buy some new young and exciting players, its time we give AVB a free rein

Great interview, AVB really focuses on relating to his players and getting the best out of each and every individual and understands football very well in my opinion there is a certain part where he says that he likes to do something in Pre-Season because thats how Mourinho did it when he was the manager, great to see him respecting the man even thought they have fallen out

It's on ChelseaTV at like quarter past 7. SSN said they'll have an interview on SSN at like half 7 too. Not sure whether they'll be the same though. The one on ChelseaTV will most likely be put on the website or YouTube page sometime tonight I'd think.

It's showing parts of it now on ChelseaTV: Blues News.

Does Fredy Guarin have a release clause? I think he'd be a great player for Chelsea and could be someone AVB might target

Guarin happens to be a box-to-box midfielder. We are in for Moutinho as far as I know.
