If he managed that, he should just retire there and then. Bit more competition in our league though, which makes Arsenal's undefeated PL season all the more impressive. I don't think it'll be matched any time soon

Same here, the PL is getting more and more competitive and teams are getting better and better so not for a long while i think.

The more I read about AVB, the more impressed I get... this fella told Sir Bobby Robson he was wrong when he was just 16. Impressed the great man so much ole Bobby pulled a few strings so that AVB could get his UEFA Coaching badges. Was a youth coach at Porto when he was just 16 and was there for 7 years until the Special one arrived. During that time at the age of just 21 he was the coach of British Virgin Islands, ****** impressive. When Mourinho came, he played a huge role in helping Porto win the CL and then the Special one took him to Chelsea where he endeared himself to our players by making densely-detailed scout reports and DVDs telling our players the strengths and weaknesses of their direct opponents

Mourinho admitted that AVB was his 'eyes and ears' and AVB was also never the one to shirk from a fight as he was the guy who told Mourinho that he saw Rijkaard enter the refereeing dressing room at half-time in one of the many ill-tempered clashes between Chelsea and Barcelona. He even prompted Rijkaard to take a swing at him.

At Inter he fell out with Mourinho owing to differences in their view of how to play football from there we managed a team from the bottom place to a 11th placed finish and a Cup Semi-Final in all of 6 months before winning the Treble with Porto and completing the season unbeaten playing a more fluid version of the Mourinho's very successull 4-3-3 which promoted wingers to get upfront and support strikers and gave full-backs the liberty to bombard upfront

This guys attention to detail is unmatched, he obsession with studying other teams i unmatched... this fella impressed Mourinho and Sir Bobby Robson

Long Live Andre-Villas-Boas!!!!!!!!!!!

Exacly what i said earlier to my brother and dad Alcaraz, this mans attension to detail is amazing and i think Chelsea need someone like that at the moment.

Regardless of if he manages Chelsea or not, I have an intense no-**** mancrush on Villas-Boas.

apparently when AVB took over a dejected Porto Team who had finished 3rd in the League the season before, 8 points adrift of winners Benfica, he had forced the Porto Players to watch a specially made DVD of the Benefica team celebrating their triumph on their first day of training so that his team will be motivated and they will regain that hunger to be Champions again, apparently he is planning to do something similar with Chelsea with Man Utd reprising the role of Benefica... Interesting way to introduce yourself i must say

This move looks more and more likely to happen as Falcao has just changed agents recently and brought in Jorge Mendes who has close ties with Chelsea

If I'm not wrong Jorge Mendes has close ties with ManUtd and Madrid too and also he is Jose's agent..

IMO Chelsea dont need Falcao. You have Torres who relishes playing as lone striker, same is the case with Falcao.

aye but we are the only club interested in him and as soon as rumours started to fly of Falcao joining AVB at Chelsea, he changes agents who has close ties to Chelsea , their is defo something brewing on that end

Jorge Mendes is a money grabbing super agent. He will squeeze as much money out of any club as he can, for his own personal gain. I believe his ties with United have been well and truly severed as Ferguson neither likes or trusts him. Isn't De Gea being forced to swap agents from Mendes to someone else? Mendes seems to have strong links with Portuguese players and managers (I think he may be Quiroz agent too?) so it looks likely that Falcao will move to Chelsea or Madrid

atm Falcao seems to want to join AVB at Chelsea so this should be his likely destination... quite frankly if AVB wants him then Im fine with this transfer

1st - Falcao has a strong relationship with AVB
2nd - Falcao said it himself that he would follow AVB to Chelsea
3rd - Falcao said that there has been some movement regarding the deal

I think AVB should focus on trying to get Drogba and Torres working together before thinking about Falcao. If Drogba and Torres were able to form some kind of partnership then Chelsea wouldn't need Falcao.

on the other hand AVB knows how to get the best out of Falcao while he does not know how to do so with Drogba-Torres, even if he does get that partnership to work, how long can it go on for... 2-3 seasons until Drogba starts to lose his ability whilst if AVB manages to get Falcao-Torres to work, then we have a deadly partneship than can go on for years
