as far as I am concerned your points have been pretty much negated by me because all in all, most players will prefer to play in a top club in England which plays in the CL under a good owner and great manager rather than play in a rising club in France which is not in the CL and will probably not have as great a chance of winning it anytime soon

And therein lies the arrogance im talking about. Do yourself a favour spend some time watching Ligue 1, there is a **** of a lot of quality there

so r u suggesting there is more quality there than the EPL?

As far as I am concerned, we played in the biggest league in the world when we did become big clubs so that also played a huge part in attracting players

Im saying there is plenty of quality in the league, that he could be tempted by the challenge of what PSG are doing to return to their former glory, that he may prefer to live in Paris, that playing immediately in the CL may not be the biggest thing on his mind. I can why he might not want go to Chelsea. Not every player has to immediately be England or Spain to be the very best.

You can't speal for Pastore, just because Chelsea are a better club atm doesn't mean he automatically wants to play for them.

He might want to go to France to live, he may want to take part in their rise to success, he may want $$$$.

It is reported that they are in the drivers seat and there IS reasons for him to go to PSG and not Chelsea.

And yes, you are being arrogant about the situation, read up on something, watch Ligue 1, I don't know just don't think because chelsea have had as successful decade they automatically are in pole position to sign someone over another team in a 'lesser' standard league.

anybody knows if Palermo - Thun will be on TV tonight? i wanna see him play.

not being arrogant, just being a realist as he might want to take part in our success too and we can offer him the $$$ too and there are greater incentives for hm to join Chelsea than PSG according to me anyways

I think it's pretty obvious why he MAY (I have yet to see any quotes or statements from pastore himself or the three clubs in this saga) prefer PSG over Chelsea. Maybe he wants to bring the only big team in Paris to glory? Maybe he doesn't want to live in England.

**** all this. If PSG can make him one of the highest paid player he will sign for them. Simple as that. ManCity, Chelsea did this, yes they were in premier league but also they signed few players who were linked with much better clubs than the 2. So everything is possible. Just learn to live with it as this was what happened in early 2000s..

Maybe Pastore wants to be part of building a club, and being a major part in a new chapter of their history. If every player since 2003 acted like you're suggesting, you wouldn't even be in a position to be attracting players like Pastore, you realise? You just sound mad that you've been snubbed.

A realist would be able to understand all the circumstances why a player might want to do something too. So yes, you're just being arrogant.

If every player had chosen reputated clubs, Robben would have played for Manchester United. :(

Well its all in the game. With the money thrown in the game, can't say where the player will end up..

''The family of the midfielder of Valencia and his agent, are still in London in order to trade.''

CFC/AFC my bets to sign him, would prefer he came to the bridge but football's football...

Never was going to join Liverpool in my honest opinion, seeing LFC fans like ''why not sign Mata?'', I'm not sure Mata would have joined being brutally honest.

Think it's between AFC/CFC.

Pastore is due to decide later today post Thun game so wait and see for developments out of Italy.

Guillem disagree's with you Jamie. I'm just not sure who to believe anymore, where does my trust lie?

What does Guillem think?

I think Guillem said he will be sold for 18 million euros plus (Which I have been adamant all along since they paid Real Madrid 1 million euros for him).

Did he say CFC no chance and just AFC in the running?

I trust the almighty Balague, but I can't go back on my earlier adamancy that CFC are in the running!

Just wait and see I guess...

Latest Zamparini quotes anyone?

''Yes please!''

Ok;
"Offers go from 40M to 50M. Simonian is working on it, tomorrow we seal it. PSG sheik can buy anyone"
"I won't tell you the name of club, not even if you torture me. He is a fuoriclasse worth 50M & will play abroad"
"I would have liked to see him at Roma!"

Nutjob.

PSG are definitely in for him I personally think, I think at the minute he's trying to get Chelsea to launch a last minute bid since Javier/His agent are making their minds up today post Thun game.

As usual Zamparini says one thing and his Sporting Director Sogliano said another.

Leonardo quotes: ''It’s true, I have a good rapport with Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini and everyone would like a player like Pastore.''

Hopefully this saga will be over by tomorrow but I'm not getting my hopes up...

Yeah just seen it. Also says Valencia will sell for €18m

Guillem Balague

It is false that the family of Juan Mata (his dad is agent) has travelled to London to talk to English clubs

Oh.

That'll teach me for believing the Spanish press too often.

Back to Javier saga then...

Lol they like to play with the truth. His release clause (even though its only applicable in spain) is 20m Euros, and he is on a long contract and is very happy, cant see 15m going down at all
