Told you Wednesday BlueHeart.

Just have a little patience with deals and they normally go through, Rajkovic deal is rumoured to have a 7m euros buy back in it.

Considering the fee was so minimal at 2m I would not be surprised.

Pereira bid was 20m euros, his release clause is 30m euros. Da Costa trying to push Chelsea up, players agent Alejandro Savichara is in London talking to Chelsea about the transfer. Pereira has told Porto to negotiate, he wants the move and his agent is essentially trying to broker a compromise between Chelsea-FC Porto at the minute.

Hope we don't go more than 25M Euro for Pereira. Very happy if there's a buy back in the Rajkovic deal, was exactly what I wanted.

After the Press Conference he cried when he said farewell to Llorente and Emery.

If he shows Chelsea Football Club half the loyalty he showed Valencia then he will be here for a while.

People say there is no loyalty in football, just not true at all. United wouldn't be half the side if that were true

u did :) i dontnow i just get impatient when we are about to sign or we have a chance of signing a (big) player.. :)

as for Pereira, im not sure if i have to be happy about the transfer.. obviously he is being signed to play on the wing mainly. i dont see him play on the left back when Ashley is fit. :)

Mata will play left wing

No news on what number Mata will be given?

Not yet, you'd think they would have announced his number if it was 13. I expect they're waiting for something to happen with Yossi, who said he expected to have news regarding his future today.

Mata will play left wing

He'll play either wing and behind the striker when we play two up.

Mellis isn't happy about not being part if the England U21 squad:

@jmellis52jacob mellis

27 man squad and im not in it...#getoutofhere! ! !

He very rarely plays right wing. Much happier left and centre, but if you're sticking 4-3-3 then its left really

He doesn't play on the right a lot, but he's more than capable of doing and I've watched him play on the right several times and he plays well there.

and...

The plan is that I can play on either flank or even in the middle playing in between the lines of midfield and attack. I like to keep the ball and use it well, I am an attacking player and above all I like to set up goals and score them also.

The way he says 'even in the middle' makes it sound to me that he'd rather play on either wing. He can play all 3 positions, but Chelsea are weaker on the right than the left, but we'll see.

Reading too much into that. Would say left > centre > right, not that he's bad on the right mind, plus Sturridge will be there. ;)

When I said he'd rather, I actually meant that I think he expects to be played more on the wings, but like I said; we'll see. He'll be played a lot more on the wings than second striker imo. Might be used more as a second striker later in the game if a winger is subbed for a striker, then the formation goes to 4-3-1-2. Or obviously if we start with 2 strikers, but I don't think that will happen in a lot, probably more in cup games where he may be rested. Seems obvious to me AVB intends to use 4-3-3 most games changing to 4-3-1-2 when a change is needed in a game, like against WBA.

Anybody watched the Conference?

David Luiz will still be missing from action this week due to a injury and has been pulled out of the Brazil Squad, Mata will be contention to play a role in the match and Cech looks likely to return to action after the international break meaning he will probably be fit for the Man Utd Game

And I have been reading through the past few pages and I certainly will welcome Perreira to the Bridge. I hope you all still remember that a lack of depth cost us last season and Perreira is being brought in for exactly that: Providing Depth. He is a quality player who is very versatile and he can easily cover for a wide variety of positions. Due to his age, I cant see Cole playing as many games this season as he did last season and even last season, it was obvious that he was really pushing himself to make it through those games. Plus if Cole does succumb to an injury, would you rely on PVA or Betrand to play week in and out PL Football. Both are Quality players yes but they are still raw and developing in my opinion.

Plus Perreira is not necessarily a squad player, he was fantastic in the Copa and he posseses great attacking talent whilst being solid defensively. He can certainly make a huge impact for us and on a personal level, I am glad he came. This gives us added strength in depth on both flanks which we desperately need.

Him and Moutinho are the ideal signings in my opinion.

I think the talks will probably involve a new contract and possibly a Fabregas like situation where Levy tells Luka to push on this season and if he wants to go next summer the club will let him. That's the sort of outcome I can see from these talks.
