He allegedly said the clubs "older players" so its a no brainer the players he allegedly is talking about.

the only thing we know he said for sure is that they play very slowly, which is true, they play a slow tempo. not the same as calling them slow players

He was down in London talking with Chelsea officials.
That is tapping up.....

We will see if the club dispute it or not.

Sorry how many times has Chelsea won the European Cup. Chelsea arent a big club or a better club. That fact that we can bring more fans to and SPL game than Chelsea can to a EPL game says a lot.

Financial rewards? Yes.
He will fit right in at Chelsea, absolutely no loyalty. He would probably be dead only for Celtic FC and he wont even repay us with one year of first team football.

chelsea are a bigger and better club. celtic have a bigger stadium, but chelsea play football on a better level, in europe and domestically.

You winning the cup back in 67, doesnt make you a bigger club now, certainly not in the level of football you play at

Haven't seen much of the lad but alot has been said about him, will keep a close eye on the boy.

No he cant say it, imagine if your one of them older players and you heard your teammate saying that about you. It could cause a divide in the dressing room and if it does our season will implode yet again!!

So a young lad decides playing for Chelsea is a better offer than playing for Celtic and all of a sudden he has been tapped up!!! Get a grip din.

Like i said its about the princables, you never put down one of your teammates no matter what.

Why should he, he never wanted to leave Liverpool and they forced him out. He had a good year in his first season, so good infact the fans voted him your player of the season and he gets shunted out. Wouldnt you be abit annoyed and puzzled??

No, no they did not. Lucas won that, easily.

We have more fans and we have more history. As CJACKO's Avatar says "I was there when we where ****" when was that before you spent millions on about 100 players? Chelsea are not a big club. 10 years doesnt make a big club.

At this current moment in time Chelsea are a better club than Celtic without a doubt. Your living in the past mate, Chelsea now days are a big club, not bigger than Celtic i agree but. Someone sounds a little bitter unfortunatly its the sign of times in Scotland at the moment, the league is at an all time low and this is a step up for the lad everyone can see that.

He hadn't signed a professional contract with Celtic, so he could've spoke to anyone.

But I agree, the rules in the SPL need to be changed so that the clubs can protect their younger players. Celtic will receive around £300k I believe.

he isnt signing for your history he is signing for now. And chelsea are indisputably bigger now, otherwise players would be queuing up to sign for Forest

I am bitter, its bad enough that clubs in the EPL can spend millions on players they dont need but now they are flashing the cash to our prospects as well. How can clubs compete with that? Chelsea have a 10 year history, so they are not a big club yet. Without Abramovich's millions where would Chelsea be?
Yea, he really stands a chance of breaking though with Sturridge, Lukaku, Drogba, Torres and Anelka there. He will probably end up in the championship aged 23 now due to lack of game time.
We are probably better off without him with an attitude like his, at least we can focus on players that want to be here like Watt, Spence and Keatings now.
The only thing that softens the blow is that we all knew it was coming.

Even Jacko said we are a bigger club, after all we done for him he should have signed for us despite History and money.

I seriously think people are still counting Chelsea as a small club and that simply is not the case now days im afraid. People need to stop living in the past and realise globaly Chelsea have grown sensationly since Roman bought the club and are now one of the most supported clubs worldwide. Long way behind the Utd's, Liverpool's, Barca's, Madrid's and Milan's etc but much bigger than people like to give credit for.

Just because you are a bigger club dosent make you a better prospect. Chelsea have a 106year history my friend, ok it may not be as gloryfied as others since 1997 but its still a history. He is still a boy, Drogba and Anelka will be retiring or leaving within the next 2-3 years so why are you writting off the lads chances already.

When i say bigger i just simply mean a bigger past and a bigger fan base and thats mainly helped because its mainly a choice of 2 teams in your country to support. I would love to see the stats worldwide because if we are even behind in terms of fans globally i wouldnt think its by that much these days.

They are a better club because they have a better present and future. Bigger could be disputed, but they are better.

He will still be fighting for games against Sturridge and Lukaku for all his career. With them getting the head start of being older. He could easily have stayed in Glasgow for a few years broken through and then went on to better things.

You cant comment on their future. What is there to say that Abramovich's doesnt get bored and go, or that we dont get taken over by a rich arab or something?

Competition is a bad thing? It would be like writing off Welbeck's chances at Man U because they have Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov and Rooney. Do people seriously think Roman will just walk away?

as it stands they are in a better place, and short of a spectacular turnaround, it will be like that for the forseeable future.

Looking forward to see what he is capable of for their youth side

the fact that he's turned the loans into shares means he has to sell them before he can walk away.

How old is the lad?? Seriously do you not know that players retire and the younger players fill the void. The lad will be training at a higher level and training our way not Celtic's way.

And your comment about Roman is just shows your knowledge on the whole situation. How many times now have people come out and said "he is getting bored he wants out" bla bla ******* bla. Every time he goes out commits to the club by spending money and shuts everyone up. Also have you seen how he is at games, jumping up and down trying to head every ball in himself the man is a fan of Chelsea FC now. And even on the off chance that he does decide to sell one day he will want to see his money back and some on top so its in his best intrest to sell to a person who can pay him back insted of leaving the club in the ****.

That whole argument had some standing, up until he turned it into shares. Which means he could no longer just pull his money out, but was better for him and the club in the long run. He may do some odd things, but he is certainly here for the long haul

Exacly mate, my god he does to some odd things but when he does do these odd things we as fans have to remember what he has done for this club.
