not looking forward to the match on the 29th :(

I had a choice to try and get tickets to that game or the Liverpool game on the 20th November so i chose that one insted. Torres will be back for the game even though i would proberly play Drogba for obvious reasons.

Granted he is quick but he isen't lightning quick, also he is a winger now lol get used to it.

I prefer him on the right and think that's where he plays best, but he's still a striker. And you said quick, pacey - Sturridge fits that description, no? Not positive on this, but I'm pretty sure Ancelotti said Studge is the quickest player he's ever coached, that would make him quicker than Abate and Pato in CA's eyes (and more, but they're the quickest off the top of my head) who are very quick. Now I'm not saying he could be a 100m sprinter, but he's certainly up there with the fastest in the PL.

wait till you see Kiwomya if you think Sturridge is fast lol

On the other hand, nobody mentioned Ulises Davilla, how is he doing at Vitesse btw

And Jacko, lets play Lukaku and Drogba upfront against Arsenal on the 29th lol

I've watched Kiwomya...He's lighting, but that doesn't mean Sturridge isn't fast, obviously not at Kiwomya's level - who could most likely be a professional sprinter if he wanted.

Don't think Davila's done much yet; only played a couple of games.

Kiwomya could easily be a sprinter if he wants to... as a matter of fact he is a junior sprinter and he has got bags of medals :)

Be interesting to see how Kevin De Bruyne does in the Genk-Chelsea Game lads, if he does well this season then a move to Chelsea next season beckons

I know that's why I said it :) although I'm not sure he could 'easily' (I nearly put easily myself, but I re-thought) be a sprinter; he has the talent, but a lot struggle to make the transition from junior to professional - it takes a lot of hard work (as does football though). But obviously he has a lot of faith that he'll make it in football, and obviously loves the game a lot.

I mean look at those finishing positions - Athlete Profile

correct me if im wrong but i think it says that he ran the 100m in like 10-11 seconds! :o

Got my tickets for the weekend, will be my third game this season not including friendlys.

Any Chelsea fans on here interested in featuring on an article on my blog PM/VM me for details :)

why dont you just sell him. he cant even make it on our ******* bench and we can use the money to get someone young like De Bruyne

What I'm hoping for (desperately) is that we offer him a new contract, so we can sell him for more come January/Summer...:S

if you could make a football team of XI players , all regs - which ones would you pick and what positionif you could make a football team of XI players , all regs - which ones would you pick and what position.

In all honesty, he is not a bad player but he is not Chelsea standard .... inconsistent and he does not fit into AVB's tactics plus there are better players out there who we can buy as back-ups for the 5m or so we can get by selling him... De Bruyne would be my pick of the lot
