Subtle suggested that we agressively loan out players... one problem is that is that there may not be LLM clubs who want them and another problem is that LLM clubs rather fill their first-team with permanent players as opposed to loaned players who after having one good season will probably leave leaving the LLM club to rebuild their core again

He suggested setting up feeder clubs, in which case you'll loan out those playes that are actually wanted. and pretty much every team takes a good loanee or two per year at the very least - I don't think that would be an issue.

So your suggesting we set up a feeder club network in England's lower league's which does not make much sense because Chelsea rather have a link with a club like Vitesse who play in the Dutch Top-flight and are challenging for Europe rather than have a feeder club in the Championship

As of now, I dont think Chelsea have more than one link with any LLM club and forcing clubs to set up a network in England will be a massive waste of their time and resources

How does having a feeder club 'not make sense', and how is it a waste of time (?) and resources? How exactly would you be wasting anything...?

Disappointing result if it finishes like this.

Torres again missed a sitter! How many more chances he needs to get a goal ?

The BBC Sports picture caption writer is evidently a Chelsea fan and indulging in a bit of wishful thinking:

Torres has now scored in 17 games for club and country

My God. It wasn't a 'sitter'. It's one he should score, but wasn't as easy at it looked.

Fair play to Norwich though, they played really well, and it was a fair result. We were disappointing in front of goal, but hardly any of the chances were good enough. I think if Lamps stayed on we could have nicked one, but we never looked like having someone who could just pop-up and get a scrappy goal. David Luiz was great today, and if MOTD etc. don't recognise that then I don't think they will ever rate him as a player. Malouda...well, he was so, so poor. He's nowhere near good enough for a team like us with the way he's playing atm.

How has Redknapp gone from saying Torres is "on his way back to top form" to Torres is "nowhere near his Liverpool form".

Lukaku looked bright when he came on. I wouldn't have took Torres off though; I'd have gone 2 up and taken Malouda off.

**** performance and another opportunity lost to gain ground on the leaders... story of Chelsea's season so far

Wasn't actually a sitter when you look at the gap he had to get it through....Even as a Manchester United fan I have to admit he played very well today, you have to accept that the 50 million pound man is most probably gone, however, he can and will score a few now and again...he's getting better...

Kakuta has scored on his Dijon debut. Didn't see the goal; would have watched but couldn't find a stream. I have been watching Swansea though (and Lille) to see McEachran - he came on at about 65th minute and hasn't done much yet, but he's been getting on the ball and playing some little passes.
