If Drogba does sign on for another year ofcourse I will be very happy as he is a phenominal player but if he does leave I will also be ahppy that he has finished his Chelsea career in the perfect way winning the champions league by scoring the winner. I will also be sad to see him go ofcourse but players cant stay forever unfortunately :(

Wonder if Di Matteo will get the full time job now. I mean, what's the point in him taking it as he has taken Chelsea as far as he can, really. Unless he want's to try and win it again and/or win the Premier League with Chelsea. Either way, the guy has just improved on his already legendary status at the club.

He screamed in Romans face after the game "Ive won it" basically saying I have won the big one now sign me up full time. I really hope Roman sees how great Roberto has been these past four months or so and decides to offer him the job full time. I will be very disappointed if Roman decides he wants to look elsewhere.

Think it will be best if he leaves. Its time for the young guns to step up now. The 'Old Guard' have won everything possibly there now

What ever Didier decides to do I wish him all the best and I will never forget the fantastic memories he has brought to Chelsea Football Club :)

I do understand that he may not be a good long-term manager as some people suggest but I think he deserves a chance. He might turn out to be a great long-term manager who knows? He has the respect of the players and the fans. He does play attacking expansive football although he has the brains to realise which team he can play that type of football with

Bascially I do not want a repeat of the AVB situation. Some hotshot comes in and gets sacked mid-way through the season because he cant control the dressing room. We got bailed out this time by RDM but we wont be lucky next time.

I can understand the rationale behind the clubs decision to only offer him a one-year contract. It allows Lukaku to go out on a loan and develop his skills further while ensuring Chelsea have 2 good strikers. If he is at Chelsea for 2 years then Lukaku's development would be delayed which would be a shame considering he has a lot of potential.

Whatever happens, his legacy is sealed. We will never have a striker like him again

Frank Caliendo

Awesome!!!!!!! #Chelsea . I have no idea what this means... But it seems like the cool thing to tweet right now.

Hahaha, for those who dont know Frank Caliendo, he is an American comedian. He just posted that, obviously doesnt know what Chelsea means and is wondering why so many people write that in twitter. Haha. Americans.

Anything but Terry lifting the cup. Don't mind that Chelsea won it that much (despite the bus), but Terry's face makes me sick.

Just remembered Chelsea will now play Atletico Madrid in the European super cup and we will compete in the club world cup next season.

Club world cup is a waste of time although it would be good to win it nonetheless having never won it before.

Also would be a good match vs At Madrid.. lets see if we can knock a few past our reserve keeper ;)

This victory just repeats the strength of the Premier League, the 6th best English team this season went head-to-head with the 2nd best German team and came out on top, in Munich no less.

Very impressive.

I seem to forget that Arsenal threw our thirteen league titles away when we moved to the Emirates. Our trophy cabinet is defo empty.

Although Alcaraz, if you want to celebrate someone like John Terry then fair doos! It's your life.

Enjoy the win Chelsea fans, expecting you to be back challenging for the title next season now. What a season it looks to be next year. United, City, Chelsea and possibly Arsenal and Spurs in the hunt.

We've finally done it?!?!? Unbelievable night, wish I could of gone.

What a way to bow out for Didier, the greatest striker this club has seen (No disrespect to past legends but based on what hes done), scored in every final? How many other strikers have done that?

We've now won EVERYTHING, I shed a few tears tonight which I'll get stick from my mates.

Another question, how many clubs have won everything in the past 8 years? Surely we are in a select few.

Agreed.

But also - it shows that you can almost fluke a champions league win. Chelsea are clearly not the best team in Europe, as shown by their embarrassing league position, but even so, they defended well and looked a threat from set pieces.

Chelsea have had an impressive run, that's for sure.

It seems to be more important in Spain and Italy than it is here.

I'll be hoping Chelsea win for the good of British and European football.

United, Inter, Barca, Milan, Porto.
