tbh I would rather see him ahead of Torres. Not Fernandos biggest fan as people have already seen on this forum lol but if he carrys on struggling I wouldnt mind seeing him ******* off soon. Next season may be his last chance to prove himself.

For me next season is Fernando's last chance to prove himself at Chelsea. Next season he will have no Drogba to compete with and the squad is being built around HIS game. I can see our strikers being Torres, Lukaku and Sturridge next season and i think that is enough if we are only going to play one striker at any given time.

I'd love to see him have a great season and hit 20+ goals but at the minute I just see him having a similar season to the one just gone with goals every now and then and some assists here and there.

In theory he should be getting way better delivery from now on. Though same was said with Downing and Carroll. Cant know now we just have to wait and see. Personally I think he will get 15+ goals next season easily.

Hazard and Hulk to be announced on the same day, mental. Going to be strange being vulnerable from set pieces now, it was always our strong point.

Telegraph also says Chelsea have made an inquiry for the highly-rated German international,Andre Schurrle.

Roman's lost it.

I don't want to post every rumour but:

Chelsea have had an offer for £28m (€35m) for Falcao rejected tonight. President Cerezo informed #CFC they won't sell for less than €60m

Atletico Madrid President Cerezo: "I have no intention to sell Falcao. He has a 4yr contract, but if Chelsea wants, we value at €60m."

Should go for Hulk and Ibrahimovic and wait until January to get a rightback. If enough money is leftover, Yann M'Vila would be a good choice to pair with Ramires/Meireles/Lampard.

What is he trying to do ffs. Galactico era? Telegraph saying that Hulk deal is '90 % done'. I have bad feeling about FFP, I know Roman is a businessman, and **** of a good one, but its madness. all this.

How much does Chelsea have to spend before it breaches the FFP?

Am I the only hope hoping that Hulk does not come. Look he is a fantastic player no doubt but he does not offer anything we don't already have. He is just a older and better version of Daniel Sturridge. Plus I see no reason to sideline Sturridge especially after what he has done last season, he will only get better from now on.

If Roman is so keen on making another signing of intent, go for Modric... That would be a real statement. Not Hulk

Also we have been loosely linked with Debauchy from Lille... Best RB in Ligue 1 according to me although I doubt this deal will happen due to his age. Would prefer Azpilicueta... Cheap, Young and bags of potential

I would be interested to see our finances. Just because with Drogba, Kalou and Bosingwa leaving we are saving approx 13.5 million a year in wages and with our Champions League prize money and our now sponsorship deal with Audi we must be doing pretty good.

Plus our sponsorship with Sauber. After winning the Champions League, I am pretty sure our appeal to Sponsors got a boost as well. I am confident Roman and the Chelsea Board have a plan to stabilize the club financially, we could just as easily have poured money into the club through front companies ahem Man City but it seems like Roman wants real stability at the club

Also we are still finding sponsors for naming rights for Stamford Bridge. We have bid for the site at Battersea Power station and if we do get it, Its hard to imagine us staying at Stamford Bridge for too long no matter what shenanigans the CPO pull.

Maybe signing him for his physicality upfront? All I can think of to be honest. He is a beast of a man though.

[h=1]Hazard hails Gervinho[/h]http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11670/7786259/Hazard-hails-Gervinho

Rofl, does this make Arsenal back in the running again?

All he said was that Gervinho is the best player he has ever played with... Not surprising really

Suprising he has not mentioned Chelsea at all though, Gervinho has been absolutely cack at Arsenal so far.

Overall the club still has a long way to go, but is going in the right direction, still a lot of work to be done.

------------Torres------------
---Hazard---Mata----Ramires---
---------Modric--Mikel------------
-Cole----Terry/Cahill--Luiz----Ivanovic--
-------------Cech-------------------

With young, hungry players like Marin, Sturridge, Romeu, Bertrand and Lukaku providing us with options from the bench. Experienced players like Meirless, Essien, Malouda and Ferreira also adding to depth

More than happy with that team and squad. Well capable of being serious contenders for the PLM

Correct. The club has a long way to go no doubt but we are going in the right direction. Happy we are not resorting to trying to create artificial stability like Manchester City are doing. We can't really hope for more from the club anyways
