Well i heard that our bid is way behind others for the Battersea plant so we have to start again there.

Also heard say who is close to or is one of Romans representitives he was asked the question "what now for Roman as he has won the thing he wanted". Answer "he builds the squad he wants and gets his club playing the beautiful football he wants".

And make Chelsea self sufficient which will be pretty easy with new stadium.

One half decent game in a season, sorry must of missed that one. Whenever I have seen him I can see why he has been playing throughout the season less and less, been pretty awful.

Yeh I know he won't be allowed to speak to the press, but why can't it just be confirmed already. How does the friendly against England effect anything.

Because he has not had his medical yet. Chelsea allowed him to reveal his destination but barre him from talking to the press presumably because they want his first interview as a Chelsea player to be with Chelsea TV

Also on the medical part, players are not allowed to leave national camps for such matters unless its like the last day of the transfer window. Hazard did not leave the Belgian Camp but after he plays in Wembley, he will undergo his medical at Cobham and after that its just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's before he is confirmed as a Blue

Roman wants to build something big at Chelsea. And he evidently wants Pep at the helm of it.

So Mancini or Fergie could be on the phone to him convincing him otherwise then ;)

Theoratically their is a very short window for Man City/Man Utd to hijack the deal... But I doubt it will happen. We have taken precautions- Lukaku the Belgian Tank will make sure he does not run away from the hotel at night (Cough Park Chu Yong)

It could happen... knowing how indecisive Eden Hazard is. But it probably is unlikely now I agree.

Chelsea wont have had anything to do with it. Hazards decision to say what he was saying.

He'd have to wait a year, and get in line with half of europe.

Some reports say that Pep is willing to talk, but needs to be convinced by Roman himself. Personally I doubt it, but who knows.

Considering Pep himself said he wants a year away from football, i'd ignore those reports.

I genuilly dont believe that is his twitter account. only 30k followrs when McEachran has 127???

I think it is. If you look through his tweets he has a lot of conversations with Porto players, Lucas Leiva, and other Brazilian players.

Hopefully Di Matteo will stay. I am sure he'd be able to change the team to an attacking formation, if he just get the right means. As far as I know, Di Matteo did a good job at MK Dons and WBA? Anyone can confirm that he played an offensive style of football in those clubs?

I want a manager who is as passionate and have a real blue heart. RDM could be the next "Pep Guardiola" of Chelsea. The 2 things they have in common is that they both played for their clubs, before managing them. A 1 year contract to Di Matteo, so he can prove that he is worth it, which I already think he did. You don't simply when the FA Cup and CL...

Doubt he will agree to a 1 year deal.

GK: Cech/Courtois
RB: New signing/Ivanovic
CB: Terry/Ivanovic/Chalobah
CB: David Luiz/Cahill/Kalas
LB: Cole/Bertrand
CM: Mikel/Essien/Romeu
CM: Lampard/McEachran/Meireles
RW: Marin/Sturridge/De Bruyne
AM: Mata/Lampard
LW: Hazard/Malouda/De Bruyne
ST: Hulk/Torres/Lukaku/Piazon

If Chelsea sign a new RB they will be one **** of a force next season.

As I told JD yesterday, it seems Hulk to Chelsea is pretty much all but done, it seems personal terms are pretty much agreed, and the only drawback at the moment is the asking price. Chelsea are offering £30m, Porto want £40m.

Post from Transfer Central regarding FFP:

For people asking about Chelsea and Financial Fair Play, they could easily spend over £100m this summer and still meet the regulations. Massive injection of revenue from the Champions League triumph. TV rights, signed sponsorship's with Audi,Sauber and still looking for more. Asked Samsung & Addidas to work on the current deal and improve it. Also, players signed before 2010 don't add up to the wage bill under FFP. So basically they aren't doing anything wrong, just spending their money to build a much-needed new squad.

Torres has scored already against S Korea
