^I hate people.
But I like Oscar's playing style. Classy player. Dunno if he's the player Chelsea needs, but he is good player for sure. Looking forward to see him in EPL.

Was just talking about Lampard on FB and this came up, just thought i would chuck it on here too.

I thought Oscar was fantastic vs Egypt. Sent in a few raking long passes and generally his movement was very good. Glad we got the deal done before the Olympics otherwise we might have had to pay an even greater sum of money for him.

Mata was very good vs Japan as well. Wast at the heart of things although his killer ball in the final third was missing. tbh froma Chelsea perspective I hope Spain get knocked out early so that Juan has time to rest before the season begings. He has played far too many games already

Think with a couple more players- A back-up RB and a winger/striker hybrid. We have a decent chance of competing for the title. With the current team, I think top 4 is a realistic target for next season along with a domestic trophy

From a neutral point of view, I think you're looking at 3rd place minimum - you've bought very well in this transfer window and I can see Torres getting back to the way he was when he was playing for us. Man City haven't done anything in the transfer window yet (I don't think they necessarily need to).

United's only major signing so far is Kagawa... And whilst a good player he is, I'm not sure that it adds anything other than depth to their team unless they do a bit of a formation change.

Arsenal have to date strengthened... But RVP is probably heading off and IMO Giroud + Podolski < RVP.

Spurs are due to lose Modric, and for now we're not even in the running as a top club at present. All in all, you're the only top club making any moves in transfers, still time yet I suppose.

I can see you finishing above Arsenal and Spurs this season, United and City are going to be a little harder to breach but anything can happen.

Mostly agree with you here. Manchester City have to sell before they buy. They just have too many bit-part players on high wages on their books. Really need to start clearing the deadwood out to make sure they can make it through the FFP. Doubt we will see any major signings from them this window except perhaps RVP. As you rightly pointed out though they already have a very strong squad so its not like they need to strengthen massively

Manchester United need a CM desperately. Worrying part for them I suppose is that they have been mostly linked to players such as RVP and Lucas Moura who would undoubtedly add quality to their squad but would not fill a need. As always however, they have an extremely formidable squad which will pose a strong challenge as always. If they manage to sign a CM plus get RVP... I would be very worried

I am hoping for a top 4 finish. We just had a overhaul of the squad so everyone will need time to gel and adapt to each other. I do not think we will win the title although hopefully we do push the Manchester Clubs which we could not do last season. Hoping for a domestic trophy though and winning the Champions League would be awesome although I cant see it happening

Our season is largely contingent on Torres really getting back into form. United have Hernandez to turn to as an alternative if things get tough, and they could always try playing Kagawa and Rooney together. City obviously have a metric fuckton of strikers.

We have Sturridge and Lukaku. I don't think Sturridge will be nearly as effective if deployed down the middle and Lukaku is a raw talent. He needs a season or two of first team football to develop his touch and I definitely see massive potential in him but this year we can't turn to him when we're in dire need.

Well done FA for showing the consistency.

Any idea on how many games he is getting banned for?

Assuming he's found guilty I think it would be 4 games.
A base charge of 2 games for abusing Ferdinand which gets doubled due to the reference to race.

Chelsea confirm "John Terry has denied an FA charge announced today and will be requesting the opportunity for a personal hearing."
