Whats with the pro Utd brigade? Forget the past, TODAY the referee was horrific. If thats Chelsea winning in that way I'd think of some better things to do than act the victim in the opposition thread..

Great game until Clatters had a melt.

No one has acted the victim. The ref's had a shocker, United were very lucky this time.

Some of us need to grow up a bit.

What's with the belief that a thread should be a sacred sanctuary for their team? They're discussion threads not just somewhere to collectively wet your pants over Mata.

Pro-United comments from United fans? No waii.

Apologies to any offence caused by my previous posts.

Got a bit carried away with the excitement of winning in such a way that rubs a rivals face right in the dirt. I'd be fuming if the result went your way in such a fashion.

Mainly wanted to highlight the Chelsea fans that Sky's microphones picked up. And yes rentboys isn't a particularly nice word, nor does it count for all Chelsea fans.

But these guys who think they are the next Danny Dyer definitely exist.

Because instead of favouring Manchester United, the referee was actually terrible throughout the game.

- Missed a blatant foul on Evans in the first half during a corner.
- Torres' studs to face challenge could have been a red easily.
- Someone from Chelsea handling the ball in the area (forgot who it was).
- Ivanovic was the last man. He did not complained, the crowd was quiet and everyone knew he's getting a red. Correct decision.
- Torres exaggerated the contact, but he should be warned first instead of being sent off immediately.
- Hernandez was off-side when he scored the goal, but that error can be contributed to the linesman.
- Mikel actually should be sent off, but the referee decides to yellow card Valencia for diving to "even" things out.

And those were just the more high profile errors made in the game. In the end the referee was incompetent, but not biased.

Poor decisions from the ref today but not all in utds favour. Me on this thread say 2 years ago would of got a ban haha but now I look at football in a less biased way and all I can say is move on. Still top of the league is a positive Chelsea fans and its still very early in the season so come on dont get too angry :) When its not your day its not your day.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but if it was someone like De Jong who'd made that challenge? There'd be outrage.
I think thats why he's on the pitch. Because Torres doesn't go round doing that, and the ref has give him the benefit of the doubt.
and then wrongly sent him off later...

Chelsea have been getting all the luck from the officials for years against United, it's about **** time we got some go our way.

Some Chelsea fans were disgraceful today it has to be said. Sure the referee had some bad decisions but he also made some against United, did you see Torres first yellow card offence?

The stuff I heard on the Sky microphone's and then throwing stuff at United players was absolutely disgraceful and you have had your fair share of luck over the years against United so don't act like you are hard done by all the time.

Also a steward got injured by a missile some Chelsea fan threw... (aimed at a United player).

A lot being made of the microphone stuff. Guessing you haven't been to many games, happens everywhere at every game. No, it doesn't make it right but bringing it up is pretty pointless.

The most disgusting thing was throwing missiles at the United players and you injured one of your own stewards, I do not know the extent of the injury yet.

I also know (because my brother in law used to be a producer for champions league games on itv) that TV companies make it very clear that you'll be in an area close to their microphones. If you still choose to act like a muppet then it's only ever going to be a reflection on your club.

In retrospect, that was appalling refereeing but it didn't all go against us. Just can't shake the feeling that we were robbed.

No one will deny shocking refereeing, or that Chelsea should feel aggrieved. But it wasn't all one way. That's what we contest.

If anything we can take more heart from this game than them. Absolutely battered them after the first 20, was the best I've seen us going forward this season (Until Torres red). Spirited after we went down to 9 men and did well to limit them to only 1 goal.

And it's pointless trying to justify the fact United got the rub of the green by bringing up previous matches (and also intentionally not including a number of instances that went in United's favour).

If I was a United fan I'd be embarrassed to be overjoyed with anything other than getting the 3 points tonight.

torres fell easy on a yellow, id have sent him off, brana was a second yellow, man utds third goal should never have stood, chelsea fans should be diguested with themselves for hitting a steward and indeed for throwing **** at players. 2-2 would have been a fair result.

And it's also ironic that Jake on the previous page picks up on everything said by the Chelsea fans but fails to mention some of the United fans singing about the death of Matthew Harding.

Jake also apologised for comments made. Lets not start this up again. All of those sort of chants are wrong. We all know this. Lets just not reignite the arguments

Clattenburg accused of a racial slur against Mikel? Surely he can't be that stupid, especially given recent events.
