We are linked with another Brazilian playmaker, Bernard. Another attacking midfielder... buy a ****** striker not another Oscar!!
 
I think Marin's problem is your lack of physical presence in attack. I'm guessing every manager after watching 3 dwarves constantly bouncing off defenders like they're made of concrete , will prefer to send Moses in when sub time comes.

That's a valid point but some may say a small tricky player coming up against a tired defence may cause a lot of trouble
 
I'm not sure Rafa will be a massive fan of Marin, to be honest. He prefers his wingers to be hard-working and defensively sound, neither of which can be said of Marin.

Same for Hazard too but they can get it drummed into them.
 
I'm sure Rafa is going to drill that. They're never going to be great defensively though, track back the defender and keep compact formation is maximum that i can imagine from this bunch. Making proper challenge takes raw strength and they would all lose shoulder to shoulder with a 15 y.o. girl.

That's a pretty disingenuous example tbh. Of course Lukaku is going to score more, look at the creative geniuses around him: you really can't expect Mata, Hazard and Oscar to compete with the breathtaking talent of Odemwingie, Gera and Morrison...
 
We are so **** it's un real. And to think I actually thought we could win the title about a month back.
 
I wonder if 2 managers have been sacked before christmas by one club in one season.

That's Chelsea's problem, they need to sell those cheep rubbish players and start using their budget to buy world class players.
 
Fulham are an under-rated team and Martin Jol is a brilliant coach.

Rafa Benitez is starting from basics and this is only his second game he clearly needs at least a few weeks. RDM was exciting from a neutral point of view but Chelsea were really unbalanced so that is Rafa's first priority. You have seen that in his first two games in charge.

Look at it positively, two clean sheets and Rafa will build from that in a balanced way.
